San Jose Muffler Shop

I went to muffler shop to.put in a downstream sensor. The code was removed but one I left another code came up. I went back and he pretty much cursed at me saying he fixed it and didn't know, telling me to hospital to a shop and he didn't know what the code meant all in Spanish I understood every word. I took it to a competing shop who did an excellent job of finding out he unscrewed tge top sensor. Mind you I been driving it back and forth to him and shops wanting to charge me hundreds if dollars. I don't understand how he can be shady to his own kind , shops do it to women all the time. He wanted me tompay.more for a teen of a sensor. I drove and cried because I'm a single mom with no help and few dollars. Thanks to the honest shop who said come back any time we will help.

So, I was going to go to Classic Muffler, but the guy decided he didn’t want to work on Saturday. Well, there I was, already in San Jose, so started to look around. Saw this shop come up. Called the guy, gave me a reasonable price (Cash only), and was ready for a mid muffle delete with resonators welded after. He was quick. You know he has done does countless times. He checks his work to make sure no exhaust leaks are present. Thankfully, he accepted Zelle cause banks were closed. Good job, ready to work, in and out.

Idk what some of the lower comments are but man did he do a great job. I did a motor swap with little too no room and did a full exhaust for me.

Last weekend I wanted to get my muffler tips pushed out about an inch. The place I had gotten my exhaust system done originally, (A1 Muffler in Morgan Hill), put them in too close to the edge of my bumper. When I asked the guy there about pulling them out a bit, he complained about how difficult it would be and how bad it would look. Well a couple of months later I noticed black soot on my bumper. So I went back to A1 and again he complained about fixing the issue that he had created and blew me off saying he had hurt his shoulder and couldn't do it this week. I called him back a week later and he said he was too busy. If you're in Morgan Hill, don't go to A1 muffler. So I decided to drive up to San Jose to get the tips fixed. Originally I had talked to the guy at Classic Muffler on Winfield and he said that he could fix them no problem. I had talked to him on a Friday and said that I would come up Saturday morning. So I get up early and drive up to Classic Muffler and guess what? The place is closed!!! Guess he didn't feel like coming to work on a rainy Saturday morning. So I drove from Morgan Hill to San Jose for nothing. I Google'd muffler shops near me and came across San Jose Muffler. I called the guy up, explained what I wanted done and he said, "Sure. Come on by." I get there and I'm the only customer in the shop. The owner there checked out the issue and had my tips in the correct position in about 20 minutes! Super easy. One thing, the guy only accepts cash. But he told me of a bank a couple of blocks away so I drove over there got some cash and drove back and paid him. I would certainly recommend this shop to anyone looking for quick, inexpensive exhaust work.

always the best value and best quality. welds are always on point and clean. one of the fastest working places i’ve ever seen. they will get you in and out of there twice as fast as any other shop with better quality work as well! 100% recommend this place and will always be going here for my muffler needs.
