Always receive stellar service from Scherer's. They are reasonable in price and they go above and beyond in service. They didn't charge me for looking at my daughter's car when she had a mouse infestation and what we thought was chewed wires due to smoking near the sunroof. Turned out there was a nest in the overhead light so they vacuumed it out and took care of the problem. They also picked up my truck from across the street when it wasn't running due to a failed fuel pump. These guys are wonderful and so glad they are in our community.

I wish I could give more than 5 stars. These guys were simply great people! My family was in the area on vacation when we experienced some issues with our car. We called no less than 8 shops in the area and everyone was understandably busy. Despite this place also being extremely busy they agreed to at least take a look and see if they could diagnose the issue. They test drove it, put it on the hoist and ultimately did not experience the same issue I had on my way to them. They gave me piece of mind though that my family would safely make it back home and I truly can’t thank them enough for taking the time to even look at the car. From my family to yours, we are forever grateful! I wish this shop was close to home because I 100% trust them and their ability to take care of their customers.

Wonderful people. I called to get a front end alignment for my truck. Their lift is a little too small to put the truck on. The truck is a 3500 crew cab long bed duelly. They were kind enough to tell me where to take the truck to instead of just blowing me off and hanging up the phone. That speaks volumes about the quality of people who work here. Thank you for your help.

This place is an absolute joke. Took my wife’s car there for repair, I had to call them to get any information, they never once called us with any updates, every time I called them it was “sorry we have been busy” and then the he asks me can you hold on for a minute as I’m trying to get an update on our vehicle “ Yeah can I get a 8 corner pizza, and the works large” Can you put your Lunch order in when your not on the phone with a customer? I don’t think they put any effort into looking for the parts we needed. He told us he was on hold with our car manufacturer for 20 minutes and couldn’t reach anyone .. so.. did you just give up then? The quote he gave us to do the repair was outrageous. We were able to locate another shop that was thousands less. STAY AWAY from this shop RUN AWAY. Save your time and money, what a joke. Update 7/16: The mechanic called both myself and my wife ( I would presume after reading my review) no message was left for either of us, You failed again, you should have left a detailed apology for the service we received. HERE IS THE BIGGEST UPDATE: We called the KIA dealership where my wife purchased her vehicle and inquired with them about the engine issues (Something you should have done) and low and behold Kia has issued an extended warranty on the engine for known issues, they are replacing it 100% at no cost to us. We almost spent $10,000 to replace her engine, because of your awful advice, you're to busy ordering pizzas and not serving your customers. You should be ashamed of yourselves.

I've been bringing my car to this shop for over 13 years and I have brought in many different makes and models with many different issues and I have always gotten quick, reliable and affordable service on my car. They have never tried to get more money out of me or get one over on me or swindle me like many other places have tried. It is an incredibly honest shop with incredibly honest workers. And with the new owner taking over the only big difference I have noticed is the change in the sign outside. I am getting the same quality service that I have always received at the shop. I drive over an hour round trip to know that my car will get reliable service even if it's just for something as simple as an oil change because I know that my vehicle is safe and it's safe to put my children in. 4/2023 - They are still doing quality work! 8/2024 - 13 years now! I love how polite they are and that I can trust them to keep our car safe.
