I got my car solidly stuck out in the mud 100 ft from the driveway we have up to new land that we purchased. We were having a shed delivered and I was trying to park my car out of the way. The shed deliverers weren’t able to help because they didn’t have cables or chains with them. My roadside assistance with Verizon Wireless sent someone, but they couldn’t reach the distance necessary to pull me out and they recommended for me to call Scioto Valley Wrecker Service. I called and a gentleman came out promptly assuring me that he’d absolutely be able to pull me out. I was so thankful for the assurance of help after having 2 people tell me that there was nothing they could do. This gentleman was very kind on a very bad day for me. Scioto Valley got me out of a bind and back on the road. Thank you!

I've used these guys for multiple tows over the years. Always top notch service with fair pricing. They just recently moved some road tractors for me and everything went very smooth. Anything from simple tows across town to multiple moves, they always perform. They keep a very knowledgeable and professional staff which makes things easy on both ends. I used AAA online to request a tow service. When the truck got to my vehicle I told them the battery was dead and I tried to jump it, but no luck. The driver said he'd bang around on the starter while I tried to start it. That didn't help either. Since I requested a tow and the attempts to start the vehicle didn't work, I assumed the driver would be getting in the truck to load the vehicle and tow it, as I requested. Yeah, that's not what happened. The driver got in the truck and just took off. Didn't even say goodbye😂 So I called the company and the owner answered. He said that I didn't specifically request a tow, which I did. And that's besides the point, who calls a tow truck to have someone tap the starter three times while I turn the key? The driver literally left with zero communication after the attempt to start it. Had he spoken to me, he would have known my initial needs were a tow, not a jump or help starting it. So, the owner of the company tells me they can come back, they'll have to charge my AAA for another service. SERIOUSLY?!?!? I genuinely couldn't believe it. I won't be using Scioto Valley Wrecker Service eve again, even if it is free through AAA. I'll gladly wait 2 hours for a truck from Columbus to come down and help me. That's just bad business.
