Great place. I do have a question though. I just got a dash cam earlier this morning at 4:00 off of Amazon. The brand is Wolfbox; it’s a front and rear dash cam. I was wondering if Shak-A-Tech installs equipment we purchase for us? I’m asking only because I have a 2024 Toyota Camry SE AWD. The color is Celestial Silver Metallic. My car has airbags on the sides in front and they say to have a professional install the dash cam because of the air bags on the sides. I contacted the info and they said it’s very simple; I heard something different after that…

VW dealership tried to rip me off they wanted to charge me over 1800 dollars to replace my low pressure fuel pump . I bought the pump at OReillys for 350 and Shak installed it for 200. Less than 600 compared to 1800. 🙏 thank you

Went in on December 28 to get a smog check for my 2013 Prius and it failed due to the fact that I had my battery replaced. I was told to try to put a couple hundred miles on the Prius so that it could pass. They told me I could come back and they would give me a discount on the second try. Just called them today to let them know I put the mileage on and what kind of a discount will I get and I was told there’s no discounts. I believe I got two different people when dealing with them twice. So on the phone, it sounded like they didn’t want my business so I said OK I’ll go somewhere else. Might as well pay the full price with a coupon somewhere else. Probably US smog check. Nobody is cordial there.

Looked up this shop on a whim, needed to get my car checked for a "check engine light" that didn't go away after I checked come stuff myself. Got there two hrs before close, without an appointment, and got the car back before closing time and was quoted a reasonable rate. Also, I ended up needing tires, they got the tires ordered and received them the next day. For the 4 tires and installation, that's the best rate I've personally gotten. Really good experience with them, owner was super friendly and open.
