Corey and the whole team were great to work with. Corey quickly diagnosed an issue in fueling before tuning my K20z3 swapped Mini. Then got to work on the tune and the car has been running flawlessly on the street and track. The dyno graph was flat and the VTEC transition is perfect. This car sees a lot of laps on the road course and is driven HARD, and zero issues with the motor. I can't tank Corey and the team enough. I'll be back in the spring for him to tune my ITB's.

Just did a clutch replacement on my ‘18 civic Si. Very professional and very thorough. Extremely pleased with the quality of the work and the speed at which they got it done. Had my car back same day. Will definitely be doing more business with them in the future!

Leaving a review after long-term ownership (5,000 miles of driving/work performed last year): I asked Slowmotion to remove the old K20z3 from my 8th gen Si and install a K20/K24 frank in its place. We used the original K20z3 head and a mint condition K24a1 block. Both assemblies were replaced with upgraded aftermarket parts. I also asked them to replace the clutch, CMC, fuel system components, wear items and install some bolt-ons as well. While the pricing was fair, the execution of the project left a lot to be desired. The car was deemed finishd/ready, twice. Picking it up the first time, the car was misaligned, popping out of gear, grinding 2nd, and riddled with legit CELs. They did not follow the directions for proper clutch pedal hardware with the EM1 CMC. I drove it briefly before taking it back. While driving back to their shop, the car suddenly lost all power and needed to be towed. Time passes, and they claim its ready to go again. I pick up the car and drive it back. On the way back, the driver side front wheel begins to make a strange sound. I called the shop, which subsequently told me that I would hear noise because of the "upgraded clutch and valvetrain". I stopped the car within seconds of the wheel falling off. On the expressway, nonetheless. Luckily, no one was hurt. Turns out, they didn't have time to ensure wheels were torqued to spec. Corey made right by me. The tows were covered, and the damages to the suspension reimbursed. I took the car to another shop that found the tune Slowmotion applied was bad (ignition timing all over the place) valve lash way out of spec, ABS wires dangling, and other clips just broken off. They also found a crack in the cylinder wall (likely occurred from running lean under certain conditions). Corey has machined a lot of beautiful blocks, and the crack here was NOT caused by his machining. The hone was proper. I do wish him all the best. Ultimately, I'm very disappointed with the way my project was handled. I provided the same compatible OEM and aftermarket (retainers, fuel pump, etc) parts combo that everyone else has used on their K series builds for years. The attention to detail and organization should be much better from a speed shop. If you are looking for serious Honda work, please take it to a shop that has one person handling your turnkey solution from start to finish. A gaggle of techs with varying skill levels working on your build is not a wise idea. Price brought me to this establishment but it cost me in the long run. I should have paid King Motorsports the extra 3k to do the same work. I know the project would have then been as close to perfect as humanly possible.

I own an Ariel Nomad and I wanted to find a shop I could trust to take care of my baby. I'm so glad I found them as they've swapped the supercharge pulley and dyno tuned for an impressive 45hp gain on an 1,800lb car. Next up is e85 kit for more, and safer hp.
