First I called and someone picked up the phone, that's usually a good sign. No need for appointment. I dropped by and was in and out in 15 minutes, including a dyno test. Price with the coupon was much better than other test stations around. Cons? There is no office or a waiting room... no need for neither... Fast, good service and a good price. Definitely worth 5 stars in my book!

I’ve been going to Smoguys for my vehicle’s smoke check for a while now, and I can’t recommend them enough! The owner is extremely honest—if your vehicle has a check engine light on or he knows it won’t pass, he’ll tell you upfront and won’t charge for unnecessary services. It’s refreshing to find a place that genuinely looks out for customers instead of just making a quick buck. Efficient, straightforward, and trustworthy. Smoguys is definitely the place to go if you want reliable service and an honest assessment.

I called 15 mins ahead and went over. Only need ~10 mins. The result is sent directly to dmv. I checked on dmv website on same night. Says renewal on the way. Efficient The owner speaks English/vietnamese/chinese. Good service and friendly.
