Unfortunately, my friend had his car towed from a nearby luxury apartment complex. I’m very wary and suspicious of the collusion that this company had with a foreman apartment complex. You didn’t take 30 minutes since my friend parked in the wrong space that the towing company not only had been called, but was allowed to access through the highest security gates that was needed to enter into the parking structure. In addition, as outlined in the pictures, this towing company had various pricing structures based on the “type” of towing that needed to be done. Even though all its services are identical! I can’t believe such businesses exist today. It is as if they run a legalized scam. It must not feel very good working for businesses like this. Avoid this at all cost!

had my car towed and taken by southside at 1:30 am (according to the lady I spoke to on the phone, she sounded like she hated what she did and was just rude in general offering a snide "sorry" after it all.) When I go to pick up my car, I find out that whomever picked up my car cracked my front bumper into two different pieces, so ON TOP of me having to pay all this money to get it out, I had a busted bumper and a manager's card in hand. Shoutout to Rebecca, though. She was amazing at how she was able to work with me and get me the proper information and who to talk to, plus she seems like she has a good heart, unlike the first lady. Fast forward a week and a half later, after back and forth messages with the manager and a couple periods of time with no updates, I stopped by and was curious how things were moving along. Shortly following this, my car was on it's way to the shop for repairs. Overall, do whatever you can to avoid having to deal with towing companies in any capacity. They don't care about you, they just want your money. As for Southside itself, they did make the necessary efforts to get my car fixed and return it to me better than how they found it. If I were to offer one piece of constructive criticism: hire more people like Rebecca

California private property towing laws, contained in Section 22658 of the Vehicle Code, set out specific rules for property owners that limit the circumstances under which they can call a tow truck to remove a vehicle. One of the most important requirements is that they notify the vehicle owner before towing their vehicle. That can take a few different forms, such as: “NO PARKING” signs: The signs must be in plain view, at least 17 inches by 22 inches, and posted in plain view at all entrances. The signs must also include the name and number of the towing company that the property owner has an agreement with, along with the number for the local traffic law enforcement agency. Notice of parking violation: If the vehicle has been issued a violation notice, the property owner can tow the vehicle after 96 hours. Inoperable vehicles: If the vehicle is missing an engine, a transmission, wheels, tires, a windshield, or anything that would make it impossible (or illegal) to operate on a public road, the property owner can tow the vehicle if they first notify local law enforcement and wait 24 hours. If your vehicle is towed by a property owner who fails to comply with any of these requirements, they’re legally responsible for double the towing and storage fees for the vehicle. Called this tow company for information and the girl that answered is extremely unprofessional and rude. I will file a claim because I'm sure they are in violation of a couple of laws. My truck was towed within 30 min of arriving regarding there supposed laws, CA laws are what they should be abiding by. Will figure this out on court since I have nothing better to do right now. Always taking advantage of people's hard earn money

I don’t understand how these people can sleep at night knowing how much they rob regular people. They held my car at their facility and refused to give me the address over the phone. The woman who picked up the phone probably lives a very unhappy life and is unhappy with the life of answering the phones at 7pm. I feel bad for the miserable life she has. I had to call the police to get my car back from them because they refused to give me pertinent information (address) on how to get it back.
