These guys have been taking great care of my 2003 Honda CR-V for over a decade. I'll just give you some facts. When I bought my car it had 138,000 miles on it. Now, I just went over 362,000 and it is riding smoother than when I bought it, thanks to all their great repairs. There was a time when my muffler was going bad, making lots of noise. I took it to a muffler repair shop and was told the whole exhaust system needed replacement and quoted a price of over $1200. I took it to Star/NW and Don said: "Why don't you bring it in on Wednesday and we'll see what our welder can do." I dropped it off on Wednesday morning and it was ready for me to pick up by lunchtime. $92 for a weld patch job on the exhaust system. Don also said, "Now this might last a month or it might last a year, I can't be sure how long." That was in 2019 and it's so quiet that it's sometimes hard to tell the car is even running. These guys are the best.

I went in last week because I was a little paranoid that my brake pads were running low. After inspection they reassured me that they still had plenty of life left and did not charge me. This is the second time I’ve used this place. They do great work!

I was very happy they were able to work on my mom's 1986 Toyota Corolla/Chevrolet Nova CL hatchback. Prices for service are substantially higher than a couple years ago, but they were able to work on the car right away and it feels like new again. They also noted additional items that will need to be done soon. Service hours of 8am-5pm on weekdays are rather limited.

They charged around 800$ for break/calliper issue. They claimed that they changed parts/oil for both sides but after repair we couldn’t drive for 10 miles it again started smoking. We dropped out car again with hours and they took 2 working days and weekends. During those 3 days we got 3 excuses/diagnosis 1- faulty parts so waiting for replacement 2- it was oil issue so we will only charge 200$ labor fee (when it was their fault or faulty part) , since we confronted that why do even I need to pay labor charges since it’s not our fault they found a workaround that’s the 3rd excuse 3- they found new problem and changed that part with exact $200 which was fine until previous call. Also once when we called they said car is ready and when we reached there it was not ready at all then he told waiting for replacement. Finally we ended up paying around $1000. Which others quoted 650-700 with 5 yr /5000 miles. So now I don’t trust this shop anymore. Will never go to them again. Problem is I can’t trust them anymore.

Been driving from Toronto to Houston when my engine started sputtering and shaking violently at highway speeds near Columbus OH. Took my car to this mechanic and they offered to fix it on the same day. They replaced the spark plugs and ignition coils for me at a very reasonable price.
