This man is very helpful & knowledgeable. He explained very clearly a problem I'd never heard of - readying an engine for testing. He advised me well, but the preparation seemed impossible to do legally and no one, including the referee, would help. After 2 months of fighting it, I went back to him. Furious at the system, etc., etc. He didn't charge me for the second visit. He just ran it again & very kindly gave me instructions, again. Very understanding. I'm thankful, he has a great disposition & is quite patient. By going to the shop he referred me to, as he did the first time, I finished 1 module. They helped me finish another, tested the car & it passed. It's an annoyingly nonsensical process, but it worked.

Went for smog test on my lunch break, service was clear and quick (in and out in 15 minutes exactly). Price with smog certificate fee would have been $98 which is higher than I’m used to, was able to bring it down to $73 with a coupon from the website.

Great place to do smog check, owner is friendly and does his job fast and professionally without any hassle. they also have tatoo shop attached to the smog shop.

Went there for a STAR station smog test. They got me in and done very quickly even though I forgot my paperwork. Unfortunately, the bar code on my car was damaged and the machine reader recorded one digit of the VIN incorrectly. Never noticed at the time (who expects to check a 16 digit bar code for accuracy?) Since the DMV couldn't match the VIN to my car I had to go back down for a recheck. They quickly and graciously redid the test at their expense, including paying out of pocket for a new DMV certificate. I think the true measure of a place is what they do when something goes wrong. They excelled.

Website didn't list prices. Was quoted $98 for a 2016 Hyundai Sonata as reference. Did go here once when I was in a pinch with my older car. Very helpful.
