Poor communication and time quoting: Drop my car Sat, quoted for Tuesday pickup, they send me a text message saying if I have any question I can text them, great. But when I text them Sat and Monday, no one reply, I had to call, being transfer a few times, and then I was told it has to be Wednesday. Then I have to figure out a way for me to go to Philadelphia on Wednesday without my car ending up paying extra fee for the trip. I ask the service advisor can I pick up Thursday, she told me yes, and the paper will be ready.When I came back Thursday to pick up at cashier, I was told she is off, and they have to find another advisor to do the paper. If she got all the paper ready, then it would be a different story. Cashier simply ask me to take a seat and wait without saying anything more, I had to wait extra half an hour watching advisor in and out doing other people's paper work. Sign paper before you got your car: And when I got the paper, cashier simply want me to sign it, there's no one explain to me what was done and what is going on. She want me to just sign, if I fine any problem, just come back. Second key metal missing: I also order the second key, because I was only given one key when I purchased the car, and I found the second key is missing the metal key. I call them, they told me that is what it should be, it don't come with metal key. But my friends who also purchase Sienna all have two full keys.

I have always come here for an oil change and never had a bad experience before. So that's what I did today, however I was told that my tires needed realignment and the way the guy said it made it sound like it would be quick and not too expensive turns out it took over an hour and a half and an extra 129$ if I had known it was an extra 129 and take. More than an hour and a half on top of my oil change I would've never done it. I am partially at fault for not asking to make things clear but they never should have made it confusing from the start. Never coming here again.

The station employee really impressed me about the attitude, extremely poor. And the technicians have eyes? I can see the window can not be closed, there is a gap between the window and the rubber. The tech can not see it. The first time tell me no problem. I pointed out the issue, the problem is fixed. But they tell me the reason. One month new car, I even do not know what is the problem. This is the Toyota service?

I am a 2018 Toyota 4 Runner owner. I purchased my truck upon my retirement in 2020 with 36810 mileage. My original dealer treated me well when I first purchased my truck, but soon thereafter began to show less interest in maintenance. My friend who owns the same truck recommended Stars Toyota of Bayside, a dealership in Flushing NY. He suggested I try, which I did. My service advisor seemed knowledgeable about my truck and I felt hopeful that this was the beginning of a good relationship. I went for New York State Inspection at an inspection station and was told that I had leaking shock absorbers. I could not pass the inspection. The parts I needed were only at the dealers. I made an appointment at Star Toyota to bring my truck in for the repair and inspection. Star Toyota did discover that there were in fact leaky shock absorbers that needed to be replaced and did the necessary work which took a few days because of the parts shipment and availability. I was placed in a rental to assist with my very cramped duties. After the shock absorbers were replaced I was excited about the ride of my truck and the ride to gave me the opportunity to test drive the truck. At 55- 60 MPG I began to feel a vibration on my steering wheel. Concerned that something was loose because of the work that had just been done I was very fearful. When I made it back to the city I made an appointment with Star Toyota of Bayside to bring the truck in, which I did. I was told that I needed brakes and rotors.My truck had just passed inspection. On November 5th 2024 on my way home after replacing the brakes I began to hear a noise. I called Star Toyota immediately and reported the screech noise, and was told by the advisor to bring the truck back. I told him I could not bring the truck back until the next morning he said it was fine, this was 1pm. By 4pm later that day the brakes on the truck failed completely with my wife and grand daughter in the truck. The truck had to be towed back to Star Toyota the next morning of which Star gave me a number to the towing company. A BOLTS WERE LEFT LOOSE IN THE CALIPER . PROBLEM #2 There was a knocking / rattling noise at the front of the truck and I reported it to the service advisor. We drove the truck, however it was hard to recreate the noise. I called many times to speak to to Service Manager and finally made an appointment to meet with him by this time the service advisor ask me to bring the truck in two (2) mechanic took a ride I could hear the noise but the said they could not. They took the truck back on the lift and the advisor said they Retoque and Tighten everything, the Service Manager told me to drive the truck and let him know how it felt. The noise went away for about a week and started again. I hired a ASE MECHANIC who upon inspection examination discovered that one bolt was (1) left unchanged and someone at Star placed a piece of cardboard in between the bolt to stop the noise. He has taken pictures to support and is willing to testify of Stars Negligence. Though there was no Physical injury this could have turned out totally different for me and my family. Your dealership service department negligence has caused much stress and anxiety. Not to mention time and inconvenience. The frequent back and forth to your establishment have cost me time, and missed appointments. I therefore . make recommendations to Star TOYOTA (1) Carefully examine the quality of work that goes out to its customers.

Just because I have paid service they just changed my oil without checking other parts. I send there and 3:45P and they return my car before 4:30P, how come they finish servicing so fast!! They didn’t even share me the inspection video. Such a worst service of any Toyota service Center I ever had. Cheaters. I will never ever go again. My car still showing maintenance needed soon.
