I am actually at a loss of words for how incredible of a human being Nick is and the exceptional quality of service he provides. This man is second to none!! I live in Philadelphia but ended up with a dead battery while in Astoria. He personally gave my car a boost and got me a new battery all within 1 hour WITHOUT an appointment. I will be coming here for new tires and any other concerns I have moving forward. I truly feel like they don’t make businesses like this nowadays. I feel like as a single woman, I’m constantly over-quoted and Nick gave me an extremely fair price. An honest, kind, hardworking mechanic and business owner. 10/10 experience.

Steinway Auto Repair is absolutely fantastic. I recently bought an old used car from a dealer and brought it in both to have the car checked out and to resolve an issue with one of the axles. They diagnosed the problem correctly right away, were transparent about the parts, were exceptional with the pricing for both the parts & the labor, and everyone was very friendly. I left confident in my vehicle and can't recommend this place enough. I'm glad to have such a great place in the neighborhood to go to for many years to come.

New driver here and recently purchased a used Honda Pilot. 3 days after purchase, my car wont turn on. I’m lucky it happened while I was parked. Being that I know nothing, I googled anything that I could find and I suspected it was the battery. Only because I know the car sat in the dealership for a bit base on carfax report. I called Steinway Auto repair the next day who happened to be just within the area where I live. Nick picked up the call, did some basic diagnostic on the phone. Being that my car would not start, Nick kindly drove me to where my car is - he really did which was such a great service and said we try to not get the car towed. He jumped start the car and it started, I then took my car to the shop and he ended up replacing it with a new battery. He never charged me for his service going to my car at home but he simply charged me for the battery. This is such an awesome repair shop that really gave me a great impression that he cares for the customers and not just wanting to charge them with nonsense things. As a new driver, this is where I will continue to go for my maintenance and fix. Thank you Nick! Having just purchased the car and it stopping after 3 days was really nerve wracking but you helped me right away and also very fast by the way, same day I called. I0 stars if I could ⭐️

10/10 best shop in the neighborhood. Class act all around, they even topped off my tires when I got my oil changed. Would recommend to anyone looking for quality service from people you can trust.

Excellent experience with Nick and his crew. My BMW stalled and he was able to work out the towing and got my vehicle fixed same day even though it was a tough diagnosis to make. Great warranty also, highly recommended, very professional, reasonable pricing, would go back to them again! A++
