Avoid This Shop – Negligent and Unprofessional After years of bringing my car to this shop, I recently discovered they’ve been doing the bare minimum. On my last visit, I learned that my brake pads were completely worn out “metal to metal”, yet no one mentioned this during previous service. This neglect led to a much more expensive repair that could have easily been avoided with proper attention. When I asked Norm, the owner, why I wasn’t alerted earlier about the condition of the brake pads, he responded with hostility and stated, “We don’t check brake pads unless specifically asked.” I found this response shocking, as I have been servicing my car with them regularly and it should be the responsibility of any mechanic to alert customers to critical issues, without needing to be prompted. Especially considering , the shop always scheduled my next service at 3.5k miles, even though the manufacturer recommends 7k miles. I followed their advice, thinking I was taking good care of my car, only to find out later that I wasn’t being given the full picture. I’m disappointed and frustrated by this experience. I trusted them to properly maintain my car, but it’s clear that they prioritize getting customers in more frequently over providing thorough and honest service. I won’t be returning, and I advise others to be cautious as well.

I live in Santa Cruz, work in San Jose and had an emergency with my tensioner pully and serpentine belt. Pulled off the 880 and seen this place randomly right there next to Valley Fair and found these awesome guys. No appointment, in a rush, trying to get back over the hill and I came to the right spot. Had me back on the road in 2 hrs. Fair prices and friendly. Thanks again guys. Highly recommend.
