TA Truck Service

I thought the price was a little high but the fact I was able to plug my own tire . And to be fair the high price is comparison is to another location that only charge it as a tire rotation and not a hour job . But was an overall good experience and would go back if had to.

Trailer repaired in shop today. Multiple Rivets replaced. In and out under 90min. I use TA a lot, and this one did great for me today. They prioritize here, which is huge for those not needing major repairs. Especially with all of the other options running across 40! Still, overall, this Alb location is dirty, unkept, poor lot, etc. So a typical TA. Funky on/ off to get to this location, too. They have some construction going on by shop & exit, so we'll see how they improve it. I haven't eaten at the country pride here since 2018. Hopefully (for their sake), they got those problems solved. Security has done well & pushed a lot of the tweakers & beggars out of here. This is a STAFF improved TA over the past couple of years. Thank you specifically to the shop staff today and to all that have helped to make these improvements. Our matters! I'll definitely be back.

- Shop was excellent - Parking is limited - Fuel Island is Grease Pit ! - Store is clean and well stocked - Drivers lounge clean but small - Laundry is expensive even for a truck stop and not well maintained or cleaned - Restaurant is closed 2200-0600 -- Food was OK -- Service was great 👍

Armed guard to make sure that no criminals wander onto the property. Tasty food. I had the : chicken fried steak with gravy, scrambled eggs with cheese, hash brown potatoes, sourdough toast with butter and blackberry preserves. Good Coffee. Less than $19.00 USD. Enough food for two people to split. Very big private showers. Enough room for a family of 4 to get cleaned up. Tile floor and tile walls. Clean.

I am very much upset with this particular shop. Was informed when I checked in that it would be about 2 hours. I was fine with that. 3 hours later, I go back inside to only find out it was going to be another 1.5 hours, all to do a PM that would take them 2 hours to do. I asked them to put my first for the morning. He confirmed he was going to be there at 8 am. Perfect. Call me when you get in. Instead, some lady calls me at 5 am. She wanted me to come in then. No, I just woke up because you called me. She then told the gentleman that I was rude and refused to come in. Needless to say, PM didn't happen, at least not there. Won't ever be back there again.
