Beware of Take 5 Oil Change in Papillion – Major Safety Concern! STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS PLACE!!! I had a terrifying experience at Take 5 Oil Change in Papillion that I feel obligated to share with others. I went in for a routine oil change, and when I left, I didn’t realize the technician had forgotten to properly tighten the oil filter. Thankfully, I caught it just in time before the oil ran completely dry, which could have caused major engine damage and costly repairs. When I brought the issue to their attention, I only asked them to make it right by covering the cost of a new oil change at another location. To my dismay, they flatly refused. The manager, Gavin, was unhelpful and clearly inexperienced. When I asked to speak to a more senior manager, he claimed they didn’t have one available—what kind of customer service is that? If you value your car and your peace of mind, I strongly advise staying FAR away from this location. The potential for expensive repairs from their carelessness is not worth the risk. Don’t make the mistake I did—look elsewhere for a more professional, reliable service.

While the two people on staff were very friendly and helpful, it took over a half hour to even get in the garage, and another half hour before they were done. I decided to try this out for the convenience of a quick oil change, as that's what was advertised, but it took over an hour. At that rate, I could've gone elsewhere and spent half the money for this amount of time. Unfortunately, the kindness of the workers didn't make up for the price and wasting of my time.

Went Saturday 2/1. First time. I was in and out under 35 minutes with my sedan 4 cylinder. Pricing was good, service was good. I'd go back -- the young men doing the work were friendly and helpful.

We come here for Mike. His hospitality is top notch and he’s so fun to talk to. So humble and great customer service! The other guys are great as well, but if you’ve met Mike, you know what we mean!

I recently visited an oil change service, expecting a quick 20-minute wait since all the bays were full. However, things quickly went downhill. The car ahead of me remained there for over 30 minutes because they didn’t have the right filter and had to leave to get it. Meanwhile, two cars completed their services and pulled off, yet I was still waiting. Instead of acknowledging the situation and asking me to pull into one of the now-open bays, the staff didn't even notice or communicate with me. It wasn’t until I spoke up that I was finally asked to move into an open stall. From that point on, everything felt chaotic. One of the workers struggled to remove my interior cabin filter, repeatedly attempting without success. Meanwhile, his coworker didn't understand that I should have been made a priority after waiting over 30 minutes. To top it off, they offered to change my filter but informed me they would have to go get one. Why offer something you don’t even have on hand? Overall, the team of workers appeared disorganized and unsure of what they were doing. While I do appreciate the price cut as compensation for the inconvenience, I won’t be recommending their services or returning in the future.
