The JAM Shop Auto Repair

Google directed me to JAM as it is conveniently located near our home. I quickly learned why JAM has a flawless 5-star rating, which is the other reason I chose JAM. When I looked at the reviews of other mechanics all around Columbus, it seemed every mechanic or larger shop had a valid complaint for something that had gone wrong during a repair and the shop did not make it right. JAM has a perfect 5 star rating as a result of the level of honesty and transparency Jason, Jo, and Jeff hold themselves to. We’ve had three vehicles through their shop in the matter of about a month for routine maintenance. I cannot say enough about the amount of time Jason, Jo, and Jeff take to discuss issues and provide explanations/conclusions to allow customers to make the best decisions for their vehicles.

I have never EVER had such a good experience at a mechanic. I absolutely recommend JAM to everybody. They do honest work in a field where that is very hard to find anymore -- especially as a female who knows little about cars. They took my beater 2010 Civic and fixed it right up for an extremely reasonable price. They also communicated well on the phone with me about their process, what the issues are, and the prices for each item/process. That car hasn't been on the freeway in over two years but I've been rocking it ever since. Thank you SO MUCH for your absolutely stellar service. Thank you!!! I can't thank you guys enough!!

This auto shop is top tier - they are knowledgeable, trustworthy, and kind. We went to them in an emergency and they worked quickly to figure out what was wrong. There were no scams or upsells or anything. They just work hard and get things fixed! A great neighborhood auto repair shop! I will be going back for any future car needs.

Jam Shop has ABSOLUTELY won us over for all of our car repair needs! This crew is talented and trustworthy. Jason is a mechanical magician. Jo is a great communicator. They fill us in on the details of the repairs and they do excellent work every time. We are always satisfied with the price and we appreciate their honesty and customer service skills. It's also great that the repair shop is in a safe neighborhood! Not every shop is upstanding and we are happy to find our people!

My car was making a sickening noise that literally could be heard from a block away and I knew it wasn't going to be good. Unfortunately, JAM couldn't fix it because it was one of those situations where Buick won't sell the parts or tools needed to independent mechanics. Nevertheless, Jo took the time to explain the problem to me and told me what to expect in the way of pricing from the dealer. It was hard to hear, but she was so kind and sympathetic that I almost felt bad for her because I could tell how much she wanted to help and not have to turn me away. She was just great - very knowledgeable, honest and generous with her time. And she didn't even charge me for the time spent diagnosing my car. You don't find that kind of service much anymore, so I wanted to call her out and let her know how much I appreciated her. Hopefully I won't need to, but I would most definitely do business with JAM again. Highly recommend.
