Thorough work. Honest. Without me asking, showed me each removed part and explained the rationale behind why they couldn’t be salvaged (and did salvage what he could.) He found a problem I didn’t even take it there for, that I’d given up on fixing because another local shop told me it wasn’t an issue. I had been feeling so gaslighted that I’d resigned myself to that whooshing noise that wasn’t there when I bought the car. I didn’t even mention it- went for a tire issue originally- and when I returned, he mentioned he fixed it. No whooshing. Will return for sure. It did end up taking a little longer than he estimated, but I’m happy to wait for quality work. Doing it right the first time. The estimate was also higher than expected (but totally fair and I’d pay twice that for these results) - just be prepared. Clear breakdown of costs for parts and labor.
