No sooner had the warranty on my car expired, than my next visit to the dealership for the usual periodic maintenance resulted in a list of "must do" work that would have cost me several hundred dollars. The notion that dealerships make most of their money in the maintenance and repair end of the operation was not new to me. I therefore, left the dealership and, after a year of trial and error elsewhere, I ended up at Tilden Car Care Center. That was more than five years ago. I have not regretted my decision. I call, make an appointment, and arrive with my car at the agreed time. The work is done correctly and efficiently, and I’m out the door without delay. Tom, the owner, is courteous, trustworthy, and professional in every respect, as is his team. Any questions I put to him he answers forthrightly. What more can one ask?

Reliable, honest and trustworthy. I have been using Tilden Car care to repair my vehicle fleet consists of 7 cars, vans, pick up trucks for over 10 years. They get the job done and stand behind their work. On one occasion, my VW moon roof developed a water leak. Immediately I brought my VW to the local Huntington VW dealership for repairs only to be told I needed to replace my old moon roof with am entirely new roof assembly costing $4000, bunch of crooks! I dont think so ! Next I brought my car over to Tilden. Tom looked at the moonroof leak issue and determined my VW roof drain was clogged with leaves was the culprit. Resulted in a simple fix, using compressed air. Tom blew out the clogged drain lines, voila problem solved! and it only cost me $50. Its always pleasure to do business with you. Thnx

Tilden is a family run business and has been for years. There’s a reason why my family has been going to Tilden for over 40 yrs, and that is because they are very reliable, trustworthy, diligent and get the job done right!!! I wouldn’t trust anyone else with my car.🙌🏻🙌🏻🙌🏻🇺🇸💪🏼

Great shop. Top notch workmanship, Tom and his crew are pros and they communicate well. Don't hesitate and remember, just like with most services you get what you pay for. My car is too important to "bargain hunt" for repairs.

This was my first experience at Tilden, and with their reputation I expected it to be good, but it was even better than anticipated. Nice, professional people, they quickly diagnosed the problem and did exactly what they said they'd do in the amount of time they said it would take, and they charged me what they said they'd charge. Well done! I have no reason to ever go anywhere else, Tom and his team are excellent.
