Todd's Car Connection

Took my Toyota Camry to Todd's for the first time. The Owner Scott was awesome and showed me everything I needed as I hadn't serviced the car in years. He explained everything in easy to understand terms and his pricing was fair. I will definitely be bringing my cars back there in the future.

I was able to bring my moms car in for inspection and review. Luckily Scott was able to determine that some of the items the prior mechanic said need to be fixed, did not actually need to be fixed. He saved us thousands of dollars by being honest, and not greedy. I have already referred friends and family who have had great things to say! If you are ever looking for an honest mechanic, speak with Scott.

My first visit to Todd's was excellent. My car is running great again better than it has in a long time. The rates were fair and a fraction of what the dealership wanted to charge. Scott was very thorough looking over my vehicle and really made me feel comfortable with his findings. I am so happy My friend referred me to this shop. I feel they are fair and their pricing was very reasonable. I would not hesitate to recommend this shop.

Our family has been taking our cars to Todd’s Car Connection for many years. But I was never so glad to have them on my side as I did the last week of June. I have a 2010 Prius and one day in late June it just refused to start. I had it towed to Todd’s, Scott(who owns Todd’s) called and broke the news that the hybrid system had failed. He has tried to connect with Simi ValleyToyota, but they hadn’t returned his calls. I went over to Toyota and spoke to a a representative in the service department. He pulled up my car’s history and gave me a copy. It showed that this had occurred in 2014 and it was a recall warranty repair. The rep said sorry but the repair was only warranted for one year. The parts guy said the parts would be over $3,000. But they could get them in 2 days. I went back to Scott at Todd’s, showed him the history papers. He saw on them a warranty code. This code represents not 1 but 10 year warranty. This got him upset that Toyota would not honor their warranty. He now had proof that this problem was covered. He went over to the dealership and got them to honor their warranty. But he could not do the warranty work. I had the car towed to the dealership. Thank goodness for AAA. The service manager assured me it would only take 2 weeks to get the parts. I knew it would be 2 days. Surprise 2 days later they had the parts and had started the work. While they had the car they checked other areas. They said I now had a bad battery with a dead cell. It would only be $400. I said no thanks, even though they insisted it probably wouldn’t start. 2 days later my car was ready to pick up. They had pulled it out in front and I drove it home. I took it to Batteries Plus Bulbs in Thousand Oaks. They tested the battery and to no one’s surprise the battery was in excellent condition. We went back to Todd’s and gave Scott a gift. For all his help he never presented us a bill and didn’t make a cent. I don’t know what we would have done without him.
