You know, most of the time a car breaks down, there's an immediate sense of dread due to the unknown. You could take it to a dealership and pay out the nose for something that may or may not fix the problem or even come back soon after, or you could take it to an independent repair shop and hope they're not scummy and greedy liars. Tom and Jerry's Auto is the best you could hope for when it comes to this. Their hourly rate is very reasonable, sure, but their commitment to honesty is what makes them truly commendable. Kevin, in particular, is an absolute asset to the business, and is the only reason I'm writing this review. He explained what was happening, did research before throwing "solutions" at it, and when he realized that the job I needed was more of a specialty fix, he still offered to do it at their shop, but also gave me good recommendations of shops that were more specialized in what I needed done. I highly, highly recommend Tom and Jerry's. They're good people.

I have been taking my cars to Tom and Jerry's repair shop since 1967. Tom and his son Jerry have become personal friends to my wife and me. The shop seems always to be busy, but they are friendly and I'm confident that they are honest with me.

Dropped my car off on a Thursday to be checked out and they said they’d call me back with a quote for services within 1-2 days. It took until next Wednesday for them to finally call me back with a diagnosis and even then it took another 2 days to allow me to come pick my car up. I ended up declining service so I can’t speak to their capability of working on cars, but I will say they told me it was going to be $350 just for checking out my car (without taking anything apart). Thankfully the woman at the counter ended up only charging $170 so maybe there was some miscommunication. Either way, if you want quick service I’d recommend avoiding this location as the parking lot is always full of project they have going on.

Let's talk about how my roomate took her 2018 chevy sonic to them and they told her it was her O2 sensors upstream and down stream. So, she had both of them put in. Still didn't fix the problem she called told them she needed her car but, needed to bring it in. How long would it take. If you bring it in early we can get to it and should only take an hour.. the car was there for 7 hours still found nothing and charged her $89 for what???( lady at the front said he only looked at the car for about an hour) For it to sit there all day!!! People can't bring there car places for it to sit all day! We need our cars. I would never recommend this place to anyone.
