I purchased a Class 5 hitch on Amazon. Trailer City said that they could install it for me . I took the vehicle and sat in their wait area. I was called after a couple of hours and paid my bill. At my surprise the class 5 hitch was not installed however they did install a class 3 hitch from their inventory. I was in the building and didn’t understand why I was not asked before installing their class 3 hitch. I called the company and they said that my hitch would not fit. My main question was that if I was in the building why wouldn’t they ask me before installing a Class 3 hitch without my permission. They agreed to refund my money. I was able to install then Class 5 hitch that I bought from Amazon without an issue. I could have installed the hitch it in the first place, I just didn’t have time. When I went to return the Class 3 hitch, I was told that they would not accept it because there was a bolt missing. There was no bolt missing because it was not installed. There was no marks/scratches at the hole that would have been caused by an bolt. They held their position that they would not refund the hitch that I did not ask them to install.

My husband calls says we will come for part now. Employee said he would NOT put to side. I come shortly after doesn't even acknowledge me TiLL another customer tells me who works there. I tell him what I'm there for says oh I sold it but mysteriously will sell me something way more expensive with pieces I don't need. I will NEVER shop here again.

Easy to find things inside. Friendly staff just in case you don't see what your looking for. I like how they also own the repair shop across the street. Makes it look neighborly with a south western vibe. Normal prices. Not bad considering you can pretty much find exactly what you need and can put your hands on it unlike buying from the web. I'd definitely recommend and will be going back for my truck and trailer needs.

If I could give this company zero stars I would. For starters, they charged my credit card twice. Then I returned to the store because they sold me the wrong parts. They were unable to find the correct ones I needed and proceeded to tell me that the parts "didn't exist". Meanwhile, I went down the street and was able to order what I needed at an auto parts store for less money. They have no social skills and lack any basic sense of customer service. Avoid this business (if you could even call it that) at all costs. I received nothing but an attitude from every employee in the place. This is the only company I have ever complained about. Don't waste your time or energy here!

Look, admittedly the place is a bit bizarre. It's like you just stepped into 1972. But once you get past that, they really know what they're doing and they do great work with good quality parts. They've installed hitches on my last three cars and have always been very pleased with the quality of the job. They also stock a huge range of parts to help you out of a jam. I've seen them help other customers that happened to be there while I was waiting; broken axles, bearings, brakes etc., pretty amazing stuff. Prices are always very reasonable. Highly recommend.
