I’m pleased so far (after 1 week) with the rebuilt transmission on my 2018 Chevy Traverse. The staff (Dennis and Amanda) were helpful and Dave (who is the owner) was directly involved and essential in my giving them the job. When it would be noteworthy, I’ll be back with updates.

I recommend these Gentlemen ( and the nice young lady) to anyone who has a transmission issue. After going to 4 different mechanics, ( one of which is well known & supposedly specialist initials L.M) ,who all said i needed a new transmission. I decided to take it to Transmission Technicians. Without hesitation they ran a thorough diagnostic and low an behold it was a harness clamp & cable issue. They take their time and go over the vehicle as opposed to alot of other mechanics who just rely on the computer code. I thank you guys so much for your honesty and truly professional work. I see why your guys are voted best on Long Island. Thank you, you live up to and surpass your reputation as honest and reliable. "If You want the Best , take your car to Transmission Techs "

Update Sept 2024: Still 5 Star Service! Brought my 2014 Vette for possible A/T trans issue. Dennis test drove it and said it was more than likely a bad tire. Gotta love these guys! Previous: Called and spoke to Dennis for an estimate for rebuilding my 1995 Corvette's auto trans and torque converter (4L60E) which was the actual price charged when I picked up it up. Was told it would be several days to complete the work (including new drive shaft U joints and real main seal which I requested to be done), but Dennis called me the next day and said it I could pick it up the next day. Although it's not a "show car" I get lots of compliments about its condition so I was glad to see it was clean as when I dropped it off and kept indoors overnight. I've driven it over 250 miles since the repair and it shifts like new. So far, so good. I have no problems recommending Transmission Technicians. 👍

These guys were great. Fixed up my 2014 Jeep Grand Cherokee transfer case/module in good time. I'm very happy to be rolling problem free. Dave was recommended to me by two different friends - both of whom I trust. Dave didn't disappoint. Highly recommend Transmission Technicians 👍🏽
