Many thanks to the owner Will and all the professional and friendly staff at Trantham's Diesel Repair, Waynesville, NC for the excellent, thoroughly performed service of our 40ft Class A diesel RV. They went above and beyond to ensure we were taken care of, the problem was investigated, properly diagnosed, and professionally repaired. Absolutely amazing how hard these guys work! Based on our experience we highly recommend their services! If we ever have an issue when we're in this area again, we will definitely be going here! Trustworthy, excellent service indeed!

I do not write many reviews, but I felt compelled to do so here. I have a 38ft motorhome and had a remanufactured engine put in it 11 months ago which has 1 more month of warranty and has been blowing black smoke when under power since it was put in. I had it to another shop early on and they blamed it on the exhaust soot from the old motor which I did not really believe but drove it a couple thousand miles to see if it would stop, which it didn't. I was in Western N.C. and found Trantham's, explained the problem and asked if they would work with the engine rebuilder to which he agreed to do. The manufacturer initially played the blame game with the original installer, and this went on for a few days while Wil Trantham stayed on the phone and finally got the company to agree to honor the warranty (this was quite time consuming). He diagnosed the problem, had the parts sent, installed the parts, got the coach running like new again, and worked very hard to get me covered under warranty. During the 10 days or so that all this took place, he had his guys drive to my campground to fix a couple of other minor issues a couple of times which I of course was responsible for the payment of. When he figured up my bill, I was for the 1st time in a long time very pleasantly surprised at the charges. Wil and his crew are friendly, knowledgeable, hardworking and most importantly they really care about the people and the work that they put out. I HIGHLY RECOMEND! Thank you, Wil, for your time and hard work, and if I ever need work and am within 200 miles of Waynesville, I will definitely come to you to perform the repairs!

They checked my truck and told me there was major damage to the steering brakes and that we needed to change the calipers. I brought the truck to the dealer and waited for two days for a proper inspection. After the techs checked the calipers and inspected the brakes, it turned out all the calipers were fine and there was no problem with the brakes. I will avoid going to this shop in the future.

I just want to say five stars is not enough for this shop and this wonder team. These guys help me with everything from towing, freight delivery Hotel and so much more. They went about and beyond to get me rolling. Thank Team.

Trantham's deserves everybit of their 4.8 rating. We ran into an issue with our Cummins engine on our RV on July 4th. The owner responded immediately to us, set up roadside repair service the next morning, and his expert mechanics had the problem resolved by noon. Words come to mind such as professional, responsive, efficient, knowledgeable and affordable to describe our deep satisfaction with the service they provided. We strongly recommend this excellent company.
