Tripp's Collision - Jackson

Excellent body work. I hit a deer with my truck going 55mph. The front end damage was unimaginably severe. I dropped the truck off at Tripps due to their stellar reputation. It took some time. However, it was expected due to the severity of the damage. I was willing to wait for quality work. When I picked my truck up, I was amazed at the quality of the repair. I hope I never have to use them again, but if the need ever arises, TRIPPS is where my vehicle is going for repair.

This is a wonderful business! The customer service/ communication is great! Tom is absolutely amazing, he goes above and beyond. His work and communication is compassionate and trustworthy. I can never thank him enough.

I had my Kia taken to Tripp’s Auto body after an accident with a falling off the car in front of me damage. I was ok with the body work that they did but when they told me my car was finished after a month of fixing it my brake pedal went straight to the floor. I mean with severe front damage I would think that they would have checked the brakes. When I contacted them they told me that they could “look “ at it 6 days later at 10am on a Thursday. I work in Ann Arbor 5 days a week and they wanted me to leave work and drive back to Jackson for them to “look” at the breaks. I told them it wasn’t possible. Their hours are 8am to 5pm. Not open on Saturdays. Then the following week my day stream lights weren’t working. I took the car to get the new bulbs A couple days later they were not working. I again contacted Tripps and they told me I could LEAVE my car with them and they would look at it when they could. I have one vehicle and they’re asking me to leave it with them in the morning and somehow get myself to Ann Arbor and back. During that time they would look at it. I told them that I work from 6:37 AM until 6 PM and asked if they would possibly stay open a little bit later or open earlier so they could look at the car. Angela, the front desk person insisted that they would not consider staying a little bit later or opening up earlier so they could look at my car and I didn’t have to lose Work time. She refused immediately. I would strongly suggest that nobody take their vehicle to these people. Their lacks on safety and they don’t really give a crap for those who work outside their hours. I’m giving them a one star

What a joke Took a week before they even started to tear down and inspect. Never once contacted me with updates I had to call at least 10x for updates when I asked for automated text updated they said they didn’t know how to fix the fact that they had my old phone number. I was told after the repairs were done if any dash lights come on to let them know so they can address it. Just 5 days after I picked the vehicle up I let them know about a dash light on and they said they couldn’t fix it and I needed to go to another mechanic for the supplemental repairs. Oh but when I first called trying to figure out if I wanted to utilize Tripps for repairs they assured me no matter what the issues cosmetic, or mechanical they’d get it fixed. NOT! Never once did the team address me by name or greet me when entering the facility. Place is gone down hill fast. I’ll take my business elsewhere as should you!

Tripp’s was the fastest place in town that I could get my car into after I hit a turkey. They went above and beyond to communicate with me and my insurance company. My car was clean and ready to go when I picked it up.
