Tuffy Tire & Auto Service Center

I am always thrilled at the level of service, responsiveness, and communication of every member I've interacted with at Tuffy in Lewis Center. They have found and fixed errors made by other car service locations. Their rates are more than fair, but most importantly, the work is excellent and will last. I honestly will not take my vehicles anywhere else, and now feel much safer heading out on my upcoming roadtrip across country. Thank you, Tuffy Team!

My reply to your response: It's funny how your "at cost" was $340 the first time we talked on the phone. And when I went to the shop to talk about it and got a call back from the shop manager (not Kyle) a couple days latter your new at cost was $290. The frame rot has nothing to do with alignment because of its location. You also told me on the phone that the part that is out of alignment (the camber) could not be fixed, But on my model it can be. My counter offer was that I pay for one tire and you pay for the other and I just pick them up and have them installed and all the other work done elsewhere. And instead of calling me back up and working with me you try to make me look like a liar. The funny part is when I have talked to friends about this the ones that had tuffy service told me to stay away and that they have been ripped off and they will never go back to tuffy. When got new tiers and new frontend parts I took my suv to Tuffy for alignment. They didn't do it proper and after 3 months my front tires are worn down on the inner side. I contacted them so they could correct their mistake and they failed. They want to charge me for new tires ($340) and they will give me free alignment. Not really a good option when it was their fault that my tires are now not safe to drive on.

Needed to get my car towed because my starter died. I called Tuffy Tire in Lewis center and they took care of everything. I accidentally even locked my keys in my car and they handled that as well. They were very very thorough and sent me a detailed report of everything wrong with my car. I had some things going wrong I wasn't even aware of at the time. I was given a great deal as well and was able to get my car back very quickly especially considering I had them replace several major systems. They were also extremely professional and respectful to me the whole time which I appreciate! I will be taking my car here from now on. Cannot recommend them enough, absolutely phenomenal experience you should give them a try!

After 10 years of living in Houston, I’ve always felt that auto shops are like shark tanks—once you go in, you’re bound to be bitten. I went in for a brake inspection, prepared to spend a few hundred dollars. However, the team here was incredibly honest. They checked the brakes, rotors, tires, and more, and suggested that no changes were needed in the near term. I was genuinely surprised by their honesty. They let me go without charging me a dime. It’s reassuring to know there’s still some humanity left. Thank you Sam!! You awesome.

If I could do zero stars I would. Women… do not come to this place. These men will prey on you and your money. The usual “you go there for one thing and they tell you everything that’s wrong” . Or you think they’re working slow… no they are coming up with a way to scam you out of money. Then they try to “pretend” to give you a discount. Or they just yell your business out in front of everyone in there waiting! Like ask us to come to the counter then tell me it’s another $500… lol btw we hear everything you guys are talking about when you go in the back and close the door.
