I am usually very satisfied with the service I receive at Valvoline sites. They usually do a full check of indicators, lights, wipers, tire pressure and filters. This time at the Stamford CT spot only the oil was changed and I was asked to purchase an engine cleaner because the oil was dark. It always is. I go to Valvoline for the extra checks particularly the tire pressure. I probably will use Valvoline again just not at this site.

Dijon at Valvoline Stamford did the best car service & oil change I've ever had! He changed air filters I never heard of (and had turned black), fixed the taillights and changed the oil. Dijon is the best!

I got an oil changed done here. Turns out they didn’t screw my bottom engine cover on, they just tucked it back in. The cover came loose and cracked. Now I have to buy a $120 part and pay for the repair service. Do not go here. Spend the money somewhere else so you don’t have to worry about spending more money in the future.

DON'T GO THERE! They are absolutely incompetent! My oil leaked, causing damage to my engine. Since then, I've been having trouble with my car and had to pay $2600 to fix parts of the engine that were damaged by the oil leak. After all that, I spent half of the day talking to the representatives, they issued me a coupon (which I will obviously never use ) and refunded me only $18. WHAT A JOKE AND WASTE OF TIME! NEVER AGAIN!

Everyone is professional and they work quickly. They didn't try to upsell and I REALLY appreciate that. I was shown the air filter and I made the decision to let it go for one more cycle. I have new wipers already and I really like that no one said, "do you need new wipers?" because they looked at them first and saw they were good. The only gripe is the line was long to get in, but I can't fault them for that--it's long because they're good and I picked a busy time!
