The technician was friendly and explained everything being done to my car step by step. Kept checking up on me while the work was being done and offered additional services and was not pushy I did elect to get my coolant topped off based on his recommendation. Also mentioned I can always come back to get the additional services he was offering.

I loved how they explained all the services to me and the recommendations. Customer service was wonderful. I also liked the comfort of being able to stay in my car while getting service. This was the best and quick way to service my car and I truly appreciate the services provided.

Excellent service.. if you can avoid the upsale.. just needed a quick oil change and also a plus to remain in your vehicle. No waiting room or any strangers in your vehicle. You drive up and are guided to the garage oil pit change area. You sit in your vehicle during the entire process in order to get oil change service and pay from the seat of your vehicle ( cash, debit, or credit card)... then pull off and go about your day. I suggest getting a digital coupon from the Valvoline website otherwise it is nearly the same price as a dealership ( depending on the type of vehicle you are driving). My dealership offers online coupons for oil changes and minor service but I wanted to be in and out without waiting too long. I was in the area so I pulled in and got my oil changed before the end of the year & the upcoming holiday rush. I used a Valvoline $10.00 off coupon that they scanned for my discount and I believe I paid something like $52.00 including tax & oil disposal fees etc

First experience here was great - I even made it a point to praise and offer positive feedback to the team, assistant manager, and manager at the time. I was really looking forward to coming back for my next oil change/service and felt like I found my go to spot. Second visit was my last and I won’t be returning to any Valvoline locations again. The skid plate on my car wasn’t reattached properly following an oil change causing it to come loose and drag on the freeway immediately after it was serviced at Valvoline Ladera Heights. Both the skid plate and splash guard were damaged. The claims department got me nowhere even though I provided documentation of faulty work and damage. They did not make good on their word to initiate contact with me within 2-3 business days after I filed the claim, which I submitted on the same day the incident happened. I had to reach out to them a second time and they responded more than a week later after the initial claim date. The claims department was quick to dismiss my initial claim as well as my request for review/ reassessment of the claim after it was denied. Their response was “we are sorry this is not what you wanted to hear…but we back our management team on this.” I want to be fair in this review and acknowledge that everyone I spoke to during this process was professional and respectful. When I returned right away to get the skid plate re-secured the staff was attentive and a couple of the staff members working at the bays were genuinely apologetic and visibly frustrated by the mistake that had been made. Mistakes happen and I had no desire to give anyone a hard time about it - but the follow through on this situation was bad business and a bad look for Valvoline. There was no attempt made by management, the claims department, or the customer care team to offer any type of concession for an incident that not only caused damage but was also a safety liability. The cost of a replacement skid plate or even any kind of offer of a discount was of greater value to Valvoline than maintaining the trust and business of a would-be loyal customer in this case. Take aways: -I do not trust this company with my vehicle nor do I trust their ability to resolve issues in an honest manner. Proceed at your own risk - Take photos of your vehicle prior to service to document its state before any damage may occur -Protect yourself by documenting everything in detail right away if you suspect faulty work and/or your vehicle has been damaged during/due to service, including the names and titles of every person you speak to -Take photos and videos that will support your claim. Valvoline has stated that they use manager DVR review and manager notes to determine claim decisions - it would help to have notes and footage of your own in case the manager later denies accountability, which is what happened in my case -Specifically show/point out any damage or concerns to the person who is working on your vehicle as well as to the manager -Save your invoices and make sure to request that all work, especially any repairs made due to their faulty work, is put in writing by the person servicing your vehicle

Went in for installment of windshield wiper blades and air tire check, and they did an amazing job, but I realized after I left that they didn't give me a receipt 🤔 They're good, fast yet efficient. Receipts are important because I can monitor what needs to be done when!

Carlos was super friendly, helpful and patient. Even funny! He made me feel comfortable, and I never felt pressured. He and the other technicians were helpful, and one of them showed me the oil dip stick to show the level of clean oil in my tank. Carlos showed me the air filters (which were disgustingly dirty) and all of it helped me know what was really going on with my car. Great attitude of the team - I will be back again!

The team has always done an excellent job on our cars. This visit was no exception. They explained everything they were doing and let me know about recommended services without trying to upsell.
