Waterview Car Care

I visited the garage for an annual state inspection w/o an appointment. The place looked busy and I was ready to spend the rest of my life waiting for the service. Surprisingly, all was done in 10 min! The owner gave me priority and safety/emission tests were done for $37. Besides, the place features portable restroom, convenience store and gorgeous views of Jamaica Bay, Bird Sanctuary and Manhattan. Highly recommend!

He is a very honest and fair pricing. I totally trust anything he says needs to be done.His personality can be a little rough but don't let that detour from the good and honest service that he offers. I really do appreciate his honesty God bless him

Took advantage of my girlfriend who dropped her car off. I couldn’t believe it. I’d go anywhere else if possible. Went in for an oil change and was told she needed about 2 grand in work. Not very happy- I caution everyone

Never really into writing reviews, but after leaving there feeling so torn, I droved off and had to park the car just to get my composure together....so I've decided to share my experience...In brief, this is one of the worst experience I've ever had being a far rockaway resident for 23 yrs...I understand clearly that people are racially bias no matter what color their are, but this white man who most likely is probably the owner was rude, dismissive and had the worst attitude...I tried my best the 1st time to over look it because of the time I went, but the 2nd time around I realized my intuition wasn't wrong...The same rude, nasty and dismissive attitude i had to deal with...It was like "I don't know why you even come here "...He handle me with disgust...If you can overlook a rude, nasty attitude and dismissive man, then by all means try your luck...Everyone deserve to be treated with respect and dignity no matter the color of their skin, or their knowledge of cars etc....Should have read the reviews before going, it was have spared me the distasteful feeling I experience today...

If I could give 0 stars I would. We USED to take our car to Waterview car care ONLY for one of their mechanics, Kinda, to look after our car. However, the OWNER SAL D'ANGELO, is a disgusting pig and we will never return again. On our previous visit to this shop he was very rude, sarcastic, and dismissive. I gave him a pass because I figured he was not having a good day. On our very LAST visit he showed his true colors yet again, with his rude comments, distasteful attitude- which I get a strong feeling is racially motivated. His employees are kind and helpful but his disgusting demeanor outweighs the pros by far. At this rate I am surprised he has any employees. 0/10 would never recommend.
