I wish I could give these people half a star or no star. Last year my car was in an accident. Truck just rammed into me and another vehicle. Obviously I go through insurance and since I have Geico this was the closest recommended shop to my house. Cool. They kept my car for a few weeks, nearly a month, which really isn’t a big deal to me considering the nature of the accident. The problems I do have however is when I got the car back. First things first when the vehicle was delivered to me there was still parts of the car not snapped back into place. My backseat wasn’t snapped back on. The interior plastic pieces that are part of the frame of the car were popping out. I’m not afraid to put things back together so to me it wasn’t that big of an issue at the time. They also did not replace the one rear wheel that had damage on it because of the accident. I had pictures of the accident and you can clearly see it’s not curb rash it’s literal pieces of the wheel that are missing because a truck rammed into it but nonetheless they did not replace that. Whatever. Fast forward to a car inspection I had a while later. Come to find out my rocker panel on the bottom was never replaced and it’s still cracked from the accident. I guess since it’s under the car they didn’t care to fix it. I also had a SBS airbag sensor that went off because they didn’t properly clean the airbag harness or just completely replace it. You’d think a 6-7 thousand dollar job that these things would have been addressed. They weren’t. At this point I refused to even go back because it’ll just be more of a headache. I had to pay Toyota out of pocket to have that issue fixed. Fast forward to today. I bought LED lights to install into my rear taillight. These individuals, instead of replacing the plastic covers that allow you to access the taillight housing, decided to superglue the covers onto the body of the car. Again, 6-7 thousand dollar job and this is the quality of work that is done. I am beyond done with this place and I urge anyone who takes their car to this place to do a full and thorough inspection of the work on the spot and in front of the shop to avoid what I have been going through. You people need to seriously do better. It’s no wonder this shop isn’t accredited by the Better Business Bureau. I’m also giving Geico a call tomorrow to let them know of these issues so they are aware this is the kind of work this shop does. I don’t pay insurance premiums for this kind of work. If I wanted this quality of work I’d go to some make shift junkyard.

Extremely pleased with my experience at Wayside Auto Body. I dealt with a gentlemen named Jimmy who was very helpful and kind. My front bumper came in looking choppy and messed up, it was in desperate need of a repaint due to it being hit by an unregistered moped motorcycle. A day and a half later the front bumper looked brand new! Highly recommend Wayside, the entire process was easy and stress-free, shoutout to the Wayside crew and thanks again Jimmy!

This is hands down the best auto body shop in Queens (and definitely one of the best in NYC). I had a small accident with my BRAND NEW Acura. Was concerned that the color won’t match the pearl white color of my car. Colored matched perfectly. They did an amazing job. Car was ready within 24 hours. The service is excellent and Jimmy is the man. Very very pleased. Highly recommended.

This body shop was recommended by Geico and like the other low posted reviews of customers I agree with what was said . Someone ran a stop sign and hit my car , I am still traumatized so as this never happened I put trust in my car insurance ti sent me for the repairs . Well something definitely was going on with my vehicle as first when I got it back my fuel tank was on empty , dashboard where fuel indicator is lit up in orange, when I know it was half a tank when it was brought there . That should have been my first red flag but I’m trusting Geico the place is reputable . About a few days after I notice marks on the car and the the drivers seat back cover damaged , as a worker BROKE the clips ??? So now I am told it has to be ordered by Mr Dilan. Which it took weeks . I now have to be inconvenienced in bringing my vehicle back to the shop . It is claimed the job will take 3 hours which was not told to me on the voicemail message left , another inconvenience . I took the Q 60 bus to get back there which was also a nightmare . I get to the shop no one at the front desk , my vehicle is on the sidewalk . I see Mr Dilan who doesn’t even acknowledge myself and it seemed he saw me . Another Hispanic male goes and gets my car key hands it to me and that’s it . What kind of interaction was this . I as a customer am not shown what was done , you Mr Dilan said nothing . Then as I get in my car not only is their dust foot prints all on the driver”s side a screwdriver is left on the floor on the drivers side . So the mess that was made by who ever did the repair is left for me the customer to now go to a gas station to vacuum up themself not to mention all dust from the shop was left all over my vehicle on the outside . I am not sure of the spelling of the middle eastern over repairs person but let me tell you this whole experience was very very UNPROFESSIONAL ‼️And I will be informing the car insurance adjuster of this. Based on other negative reviews this shop needs to improve with how they treat new customers like myself or any customer recommended to this place .

**Original review was left in October 2022** It's not surprising to see a good amount of terrible reviews. It is indeed true, and here is the story. But before i start, let me just clarify one thing, nobody from Geico nor from the body shop ever offered an apology with the whole ordeal. This is a fact. Geico sent me here after someone hit the rear passenger side of my SUV. Car was fixed, and I was called to go pick it up. I get there and good thing I check before I pull off the lot, they left scratches on my roof, scratches on the sides, scuff marks on the inside, opened my ratchet set that was in the original packaging, my key fob that had my name mysteriously disappeared, they forgot to set back the plastic pieces that cover the bolts on the rear seats and even forgot to RE ATTACH the rear seat belt. I now had to wait another week until they called me. I got 2 missed calls and voicemails (I work the evening shift doing field work, so I can't really pick up my personal) to tell me the vehicle is ready. Cool. As I'm leaving my house in the morning, I call them as I board the bus, and they confirm it's ready. I get there, and the desk lady hands me an updated, itemized summary of the repairs. I wait outside. I waited for 10 minutes, and then Jimmy (one of the owners) came out to tell me they made an accident, and my vehicle was, in fact, not ready. What may have happened was that the noise I suspected was troubling was, in fact, the wheel bearing after he told me it just needed a tire replacement. But of course, nobody admitted their fault. I found this out on my own by viewing the pictures they are required to upload to Geico. I got the car back finally after nearly a month at that terrible place, and the last straw was when I saw that they disconnected my dash cam in the front. I called out the owner, and he came with some other guy who told me why that's a big deal? I told them them why the #$@! does anybody need to touch my center console or unplug my dashcam when the work done was all in the back. It took a lot not to punch that idiot in his face. I drove off. And after a month, I realized that they forgot to put that thing that you can pull out to cover the contents in your trunk. So yeah. 0/10. I will definitely not recommend these incompetent bafoons to anybody. I had the most patience with them. I never made a scene and never gave them a reason to do this to me. I worked multiple customer service jobs for more than 20 years. I know how to talk to people, but unfortunately, these people don't know how to communicate, execute, and how to be straightforward. AVOID THIS PLACE AT ALL COSTS!!! I don't have a place to recommend, but I can honestly tell anyone reading this. This terrible body shop did not help when it came to this claim. It didn't help when this all started when some moron hit my vehicle when it was parked, so from the beginning, I've been shafted. **Edited again** **Apparently the business might have flagged this review as spam to have it removed, this is not right as this did happen and I will upload the estimates they gave me to prove the work that was done to my vehicle**
