West Coast Fiero

I have ordered from Chris West 3 times over the last 18 years. First order was for 84-87 front hubs. Took two weeks to get them. Second order I tried to the brackets and adaptor to put power steering in my Fiero. Talking to Chris he IS very knowledgeable. After two months he hadn't shipped the parts. Called and cancelled told him to cancel the order. Took another month to get the refund. Third order is this one. Ordered a 3800 motor bracket Dec 21st. Reached out and they said it was shipping Dec 26th. Asked for the tracking number today just to find out that they really just shipped the bracket yesterday but they give me some BS about how it takes longer to ship over USPS Ground Advantage. IF it had been shipped then they said it was going to ship I would have had it by now. My opinion is this: Shipping: If you order from them, you need to plan and order a month before you need the part. If you are going to order and need a part quickly, find another vendor. Quality: The front hubs I bought were great. I would assume this bracket will be of good quality. My NEGATIVE rating comes from the facts that the WCF team lies about when stuff is shipping. If you don't care about being lied to, you will be okay with these guys. I would rather have a vendor tell me the truth that they don't have the part and not tell me that its going to today... and them tomorrow tell me it is going out today... and then in a month tell me it is going out today... Hopefully WCF will read this and ship when they say they are going to ship.

Got the ls4/4T65 engine mount and transmission mounts for my feiro swap. Got the brackets in a timely manner, but when pulled out of the box one engine bracket was taped with writing on it grind to fit, tried bolting 2 transmission brackets didn't even get the bolts all the way in and they pulled threads out due to the holes being offset/drilled wrong. All the pictures on the website are useless can't tell where 2 brackets go at all due to not having them pictured. Thought I was buying a kit to save me time and ended up costing me more time and money. If I could leave a 0 star review I would. I should've just made my own brackets and not wasted money on this joke of a kit. VERY UNSATISFIED

The people there are vary helpful and polite with a problem or concern you with your Fiero I have not been there yet but based on the pictures in the background of the shop there is nothing west Coast can’t do

Because of plans I made with Chris West at West Coast Fiero, I acquired a low mileage, clean 1988 Fiero GT with T-Tops for an engine swap, along with other, extensive customization. I had planned to invest $20K+ with him, over several types of upgrades. For the engine / trans (phase 1) We agreed that I would acquire a low mileage LS4 engine and transmission, ship them to his shop and hire him to perform the swap and supercharge the LS4 engine. I spent thousands of dollars in acquiring the engine / trans, rebuilding the trans, upgrading and shipping them to Chris, etc. I also sent Chris the $8K+ he requested from me, to perform the labor and acquire the supercharger kit. Once he had the parts and the money, the excuses began. For one reason or another, he either did not have the time or the resources to begin my project. Fast forward 18 months of this... I decided to cancel the project and request a refund. To my dismay, he then informed me that he had spent all my money on other things and that he had NO IDEA if/when he will be able to pay me back! I was blown away and very worried, I shared this with Chris, he did not care and hung up the phone. I am now having to sue him to try and recover my money... so disappointed.

So far, so good! Their parts have been top notch, and shipping has been extremely fast. Haven't experienced any kind of delays with my orders, and they've been quick to respond to any questions about their products. Update 10/4/2021: Two instances of parts being made incorrectly, with promises to send new ones, but neither ever arrived. People skills not always the best either. Tend to be talked down to, regardless of my own knowledge/expertise. Parts are definitely still high quality; just a little hit and miss on the details.
