I stopped here with an unusual issue and Brent, the owner, really checked my 1999 Taurus out. I will be a new customer. Don't be bothered by all the cars on the property... checking for parts, insurance issues, etc. They work with appointments and will take care of you. Thanks Brent and John.

So I've brought a few cars into White Lake Auto and thought I was being treated right buy a guy named John.. past few times he's told me my car was fine, no need for work.? Ok great, this last time I brought in my Nissan 350Z already knowing I needed a clutch do to me feeling it slipping and having taken it to a transmission shop and them telling me it was going. I thought I knew this John so I wanted him to have the job, he had me drop the car off and he kept it for a week never getting back to me, I called him finally as I told him I was in no rush and he started giving me attitude.. Said his mechanic drove it and said it was fine, acted like I was wasting his time? I said I'll come up in a few minutes and can point out the problem he said ok so I came in and he was looking at me like he wanted to fight or something? I asked him is there something wrong here? He said yes I'm starting to get a little attitude, I said really? So am I, why have you just let my car sit outside? He gives me another dirty look and says I'll go get somebody to take a ride with you very rudely, another guy met with me and we took the car out, it wasn't slipping so I asked him how long has my car been sitting before you tested it? he had no answer, it had been raining all week early spring I said must have rust on the flywheel that's why it's gripping.. He said yeah that could be, I had had enough at this point, told him I didn't want them touching it and took it back to the first mechanic and told him what had happened, he asked me if they had took off the clutch inspection plate? I said no mention of that, he said and he was just going to let you go without really knowing or properly trying to identify the issue? I said yep! He put the car on a lift for me and showed me the clutch ware said your clutch is just about gone.... I will never take or recommend anyone to these guys again after this terrible experience, armatures is what my new mechanic called them.
