Top-notch!!! I had the BEST experience with Wimmer's Automotive. A rodent infestation chewed through my gas lines and wiring, and it was a huge mess. On the last day of my vacation to Los Osos my car had to be towed, and Wimmer's automotive was the only available mechanic. I got so lucky! Not only are they skilled, knowledge, efficient and thorough, they are also super Duper NICE! Big shout out to Mike. He went way above and beyond by driving over 10 miles out of his way to deliver all belongings inside my vehicle to my hotel room because my car had to stay for a weeks worth of repairs. He was so nice and funny kept me informed every step of the way. Wimmer's is honest, reliable and professional. They do great work!!!

So organize and efficiently processed. I like the appointment theme. No more dropping your car off and waiting for your mechanic to get to it. It's like making a dentist appointment and they get to it right away. Also, they look for any looming issues that you would expect your mechanic to process but never do. But here's the kicker!!! They quoted me a price and when I went to pick up my truck ... it was about a third less than the quote. An honest mechanic is like gold in my book.

Wimmer’s Automotive took great care of our Ford truck. We needed new brakes and some work done. They worked on it in a timely manner and communicated with us all the way through the process. We appreciate their hard work and honesty.

You have taken care of our two cars for almost 6 years, and we have been very satisfied with your service for the most part. The two exceptions were when you couldn’t find and fix that our air conditioner would intermittently stop working (Rizzoli’s did), and when Michael called about an oil change we were having you do. It felt like a shake down. He wanted me to authorize having a new timing belt put in, plus whatever else you might find once you got in, and would have required a long time and several thousand dollars. His reason, well the car is getting pretty old and they don’t last forever. He specifically asked me if the timing belt had ever been changed, and if I even knew what a timing belt is. A shake down and an insult all wrapped together. For that reason, we wouldn’t have come back while he’s still there. As it happens we’ve just moved away from Morro Bay so the point is moot.

This Automotive repair shop is THE BEST I've done business with in all my years (60+) of owning a car! They are professional, knowledgeable, and honest! The manager, Mike, who took care of my car is wonderfully thorough and competent! He guided the repair I needed to the very end ensuring that the repair was successful and even checking in with me days later to be sure I was satisfied. Second to none, I highly recommend this car repair business!!
