Wondries Family Collision Center

Several weeks ago, I backed out of a parking space and smashed my driver’s side mirror against a concrete pillar adjacent to the space. The mirror housing cracked, the mirror glass cracked in many pieces, but the entire mirror remained well-attached to the door. I needed a repair shop, fast. I see the Wondries building every time I go to Home Depot, and I drove there immediately. I was distressed when I walked in, and apprehensive about what kind of response I’d receive. I asked the receptionist if someone could look at my car and provide an estimate. In less than 5 minutes, James Rodriguez introduced himself and walked with me out to my car. As he examined the smashed mirror, James explained how the mirror is assembled, and what parts would need replacing. By the time he finished assessing the mirror damage, I was so impressed with his knowledge and willingness to explain every detail that I asked him to look at the rear bumper also. The bumper had a 2-inch vertical puncture/split in the plastic. A year prior, a different repair shop told me the entire bumper would have to be replaced – the cushion layer, fastenings, and the plastic bumper piece. The quoted price was more than I could afford, so I decided to live with it. James examined the bumper and told me it was unlikely the cushion layer would need to be replaced, but they would examine it after the plastic piece was removed to make sure it was in good shape. I was happily surprised with the estimate for these repairs; the cost was far less than I anticipated. The parts were ordered that day (Wednesday afternoon), and James estimated they would be delivered to Wondries by Friday. As it turned out, the new plastic bumper piece arrived Friday with a visible scratch. James reordered the bumper immediately. On Monday, I brought my car in for repair. The work was completed the same day. Here’s why James (and Wondries) are superior service providers: 1 – After meeting James, I knew I’d come to the right place for help. His knowledge is deep and thorough, and his manner is reassuring. He inspired my trust. 2 - James suggested I buy a self-stick mirror at the local auto parts store, and attach it to the cracked mirror, so I’d have some functionality until the replacement parts arrived. I took care of that right away, and it worked well as an interim solution. 3 - The estimate was accurate to the exact dollar. I thought there might be a bit of variance depending on how the work progressed, because stuff happens – but there were no surprises. 4 – The work was done within the timeframe specified. 5 – The repair work was excellent. My car looks great! 6- And now for the icing…. my car was covered in dead bugs, tree sap, and dirt collected during two road trips shortly before the mirror mishap. When I picked up the car, it was spotless…detailed inside and out… even the tree sap had been removed. The extra time, care, and attention Wondries devoted to this effort are so far above and beyond my expectations – I’m just knocked out, in the best way.

I just picked up my car from Wondries Collision Center and I’m very satisfied ! My car looks brand new! James was very helpful and so friendly and explained the process of my car and always kept me updated! He’s great! I highly recommend coming here for great service and great customer service! :)

TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE. READ THIS before taking your car to Wondries. I brought my 2020 Shelby cobra to Wondries to repair my front bumper. My car has two stripes that go down the center and they assured me they could repair and redo the stripes. I left my car there for a month. I was quoted a starting cost of $2000 and then it ended up being over $6k. When I picked up my car the stripes were crooked, the top coat was pealing off and there were bubbles in the paint. I brought it back 3 times for them to redo it. The third time I realized they did not have someone qualified to apply original ford stripes. I respectfully asked if they could find someone else or give a partial refund so I could then pay someone else to it right as I already had the next shop lined up. Of course they never gave me a clear answer of this but my bumper looked like garbage and had to be fixed. I took my car to the new shop and insurance approved the work to be redone because of the terrible craftsmanship of Wondries. I had to pay for a rental for a month and when I asked Wondries to help cover the cost as it was the least they could do, they wiped their hands clean. They were paid for a job that wasn’t done correctly and tried to gaslight me saying there wasn’t a problem. Don’t take your car to wondries. You’ll get screwed over just like I was. Disgusting
