Aquawax Express Car Wash

I paid for the $14 wash, and the conveyor belt rushed my car through and my car is still dirty. They sell towels because they don’t leave your car under the blow dryers long enough for it even get close to dry. Honestly really disappointed for what I paid for Edit: I left my car in neutral and never hit the gas until the light at the end told me I was good to go. So maybe it’s your car wash that rushes people through. I would understand if it was a busy day and there was a line, but when I went there was no line and just a couple people who went before me using the vacuums.

I just need a good ol' basic wash and the price is $8. Great deal, and I've always encountered nice staff each time I go there. I drive from Culver to get it because it is double the price out here on the west side.

Wish I had read any review at all before rolling into the wash. WOW this is NOT a car wash. It should be called a Car Wet and Dirty. This place does NOT CLEAN anything and your car comes out looking like it just rained. Definitely NOT dry by any standard.

DONT COME HERE. My car got damaged here, owner says they are not liable for damages, tries to blame it on the customer, really? I have a brand new car straight off the lot and he still tried to say it came in damaged like that, smh. Lesson learned. The owner does not care about customers either, go look how he responds to negative reviews! NEVER COMING BACK AGAIN.

So this morning, I arrive at the car wash eight minutes after 8 o’clock (the hours say open at 8am) and some guy in a red 4 runner is pulling into the same entrance to the car wash. He starts honking frantically, and throwing up his hands in the air. So, I honk and gesture for him to pull in. So he does and I pull in behind him. He jumps out in a frenzy because two garbage men are is also waiting for him to open the gate as well. He gets out of his car in a huff and up to my window, and I asked him what time he opened. He responded by saying “we open at 8 o clock”. I let him know it’s nearly 10 minutes after 8. He informs me that they’re not open yet and it’s going to take a long time. I said okay, I’ll wait- can I wait by the drive in till where you take the money? He said “I don’t really care- you tried to run into my vehicle!” I said, “no that’s not what was happening. I honked to point that you can go ahead.“ I have a DashCam that clearly shows I did no such thing and I have been accident free for 35 years, so it’s silly of him to accuse me so quickly like that for a simple misunderstanding. Especially since he was supposed to be open 10 minutes prior. He tells me that I am ridiculous and walks off, so I left and got my car washed somewhere else. It’s a conveniently located wash for me, so I have brought my business there many times- but it is frequently not open during posted hours and after being needlessly berated by who I presume was the owner I will not be going back there again. PS: I am happy to share the aforementioned dash cam video of the whole interaction with anyone who wants to see it.
