Coastal Xpress Car Wash Introduce

For those looking for a "Car Wash Near Me" in Costa Mesa, Coastal Xpress Car Wash is located at 1512 Bristol St, Costa Mesa, CA 92626, USA. You can contact them at (714) 436-0226 or +1 714-436-0226.

Coastal Xpress Car Wash offers a touchless car wash experience and has received mixed customer reviews, particularly regarding the overall wash quality.

The car wash is located behind a Shell gas station and provides a quick, approximately five-minute touchless wash. Payment options include cash and credit cards at the machine, but debit card users must purchase a code from the cashier. Wash options are priced at $17, $13, $11, and $9.

One customer highly recommends the $17 ceramic wash, detailing its features: "I prefer the ceramic wash at $17, which is the most expensive but worth it. The process includes an underbody wheel blast, pre-soak, triple foam conditioner, high-pressure wash, ceramic seal, and shine wax. The dryer runs for about 70 seconds, but you’ll still need to wipe the rear, especially near the license plate. Overall, it’s one of the best touchless washes, and the ceramic option always leaves my car looking great!" This review emphasizes the effectiveness of the ceramic wash and its comprehensive cleaning process.

However, another customer expressed dissatisfaction with the general wash quality, stating, "The car wash line is always long and the car wash doesn't do a great job. I paid for the second-level wash and my car still had a thick layer of dirt on the window. I don't expect a detailed wash from a touchless, but the dirt on the window should come off and shouldn't leave spots on the window." This review highlights concerns about long wait times and the inability of the wash to remove basic dirt from windows.

These reviews indicate that while Coastal Xpress Car Wash offers a highly praised ceramic wash option, the general wash quality may be inconsistent. Customers should be aware of potential long lines and the possibility of remaining dirt, especially on windows. The payment system may also be inconvenient for debit card users.

Therefore, Coastal Xpress Car Wash is recommended with caution. Potential customers should consider the ceramic wash option for a more thorough clean. If you are looking for a quick, touchless wash, and don't mind potentially wiping down parts of your vehicle afterwards, or if you are interested in the ceramic wash, this location is adequate. Otherwise, consider alternative options in the area.

Seriously pathetic car wash for $17 . It’s cheap but but what’s the point if u don’t even get time worth ur money?the dryer stopped 20 secs before the time was up so half my car was still wet plus i just wanted stuff sprayed on and washed off I could’ve done that myself! There were no brushes or anything!!

If you are a Tesla owner, READ THIS before making the decision to go. First off, i LOOOVED the touchless carwash. It was just what i was looking for. Unfortunately, i didn't read these reviews before going and i scrapped my left back rim pretty bad. The entrance is not the best and i had to back up and go forward very cautiously several times just to get in, but not cautiously enough bc i still managed to scrap my rim. Mind you my car is less than 2 months old. The sound of my rim scrapping against the curb was painful, i felt my body go cold. Worst feeling ever. The possibility of scraping the lower bumper or any of the rims is a very high possibility with the way this entrance is designed. I had to pay $120 to do a rim repair the next day, so this car wash ended up coasting me $133 dollars. Sad, because i would love to come here weekly, but not willing to go through that stress again.

Believe the reviews about scratching your rims on the curve! Even after being extra careful, rims still scratched, and also happened to car behind us. The layout is unreasonable. You'll pay $20 for a car wash and end up with a $100+ rim scratch.
