El Segundo 5-Minute Express

I’ve been coming to this car wash for a while, but every time I visit, the price seems to go up. It started at a reasonable rate, but now it’s just getting ridiculous. Why am I paying $13 for a basic car wash? That’s way too much, especially when there are other places offering the same (or better) service for less. At this point, it feels like they’re just raising prices because they can. The wash itself is fine, but it’s definitely not worth the ever-increasing cost. I’ll be looking for a more affordable option elsewhere.

Purchased the most expensive wash so that I could have the extra rinse. Ran my car through, just left streaks of dirt and water spots on the back end of the car from the rear doors back. Side mirrors seem to accumulate the dirt from the truck before me. In a wheelchair, so can't just jump out of the car to point the issues out. Was very busy with no attendants to ask. The most expensive package come with tire dressing, which should be called wheel and side of your car slop. Very frustrating when it was $25.

Beware of double charge: Drove into El Segundo car wash today and put in my credit card and it said that it didn’t work and I’d have to do it again. I switched over the card re-inserted it, said it failed again, but then the arm opened and I drove through. Out of curiosity. I checked my credit card and had been charged twice! When I was finished drying off my car, I went to speak to the manager and asked him to either reverse the charge or I’d even take a gift card just to make it easy. He refused to do either and told me that if the bank didn’t notice it and take it off. I could come back in. Not great customer service. I have since spoken with my bank and I have to wait five days to see if The double charge goes through. If it does, I either need to try and go back to the car wash or file for a refund from my credit card.

For $25 you’d expect an amazing wash, but it’s no better than the $9 wash down the street. Doesn’t really clean much, car still leaves filthy.

One of the best self-drive car washes in the area. Very economical prices and they offer free vacuum cleaners and air hoses and window cleaner. It can get crowded during peak hours but still it's one of the best deals.
