I went to Fabulous Freddy’s yesterday and received a less than “fabulous” experience for $95. My screen was left dirty, I paid extra for a leather treatment and they skipped sections of my car. Additionally, my mats were initially not cleaned even though I paid for the service (it clearly said it on my receipt) and I had to go grab an employee to come fix it. Furthermore, I asked for my car to be hand brushed not just sprayed off and it was only sprayed off prior to entering the tunnel. I took my other car in earlier that day and the same thing happened in regards to the hand brush. Finally, my glass is all streaky on my windshield and on the outside/inside of all the windows. I definitely expected more.

I visited Fabulous Freddys and was disappointed with the experience. Even though there wasn’t much traffic and the process took about an hour, the service quality fell short. I paid for the top interior/exterior package, yet my car was left with copious amounts of dirt, dust, and sand. Several areas appeared to have not been wiped at all, and the windows still had spots all over them. When I pointed out that the seats looked like they hadn’t even been cleaned, the staff oddly asked which package I had—despite it being clearly displayed on the windshield. They did a quick additional wipe and then sent me on my way, but several spots remained dirty. Attention to detail matters, and unfortunately, I didn’t receive the service I paid for.

On today, Monday, January 13, I arrived at Fabulous Freddy's at around 0630hrs and proceeded to purchase a muffin and a cup of coffee. I went to one of the 2 bar height tables, where I had placed my bookbag, laptop. Zach is the gentleman who has been the front counter cashier for a couple of days. At about 0650, Zach headed towards me, which I see because of the windows looking into the detail bay. Zach comes over to me and asks me how I am doing and I say well, thanks. He then says that his manager is asking if I have any place else to go. He tells me that she has stated that 'they' dont want homeless people here! This manager , as I am told, is the GM of the store, named Jenny. I find a few things odd in this situation... 1-Jenny had been in the store, left to drop someone off, and text Zach at the front counter about me, asking him to address me and try to get me on my way. 2- When Jenny got back to the store, she said nothing to me. 3- It is 7:25am and I have been in here for under an hour, with at least half of that time dedicated to information gathering, and writing this review, and let me remind you that I am a paying customer. As I look around in this city, I can say that there are very few black people, and as I look at the census, learn the fact that .8% of Sandy, Utah are black. I am unsure as to what caused Jenny to presume me homeless, and better yet, why did she send one of her employees to approach me, instead of addressing it herself? Is she concerned because a black man has frequented her store over the last 3 days? For some perspective I am in coveralls each time I come to this store, due to the freezing conditions. I am in town on business( construction), and have recently been having some issues with my cell phone, that barely will charge nor hold a charge, as well as my network provision has been very unstable in this city. Due to my primary means of internet and communication, having issues, I have resorted to coming down the road to Quarry Bend in order to access the internet. I am definitely not impressed with this Jenny, to the point where I am writing this review, but advise people not to come in here in jeans, or work attire if you intend on staying after paying for a bit! It is said that one bad apple spoils the bunch, and at this point, it would seem that Jenny, is that bad apple! The photos attached are of where I was sitting, my bike outside, and my view of the store if I turn around! 0902hrs: review 2 minutes ago, I had a ranting Jenny finally approach me to talk to me. Admittedly, I wrote this review and hadn't posted it until asking to have her come talk to me and that didn't happen. As the consumer, I have no idea what transpires here at this business on a regular. What I do know,. after a conversation with the GM( Jenny), is that this is/was not a racially motivated situation, more that there have been issues with persons frequenting Fabulous Freddy's in order to get out of the cold, and as the GM, she is/was just attempting to stay abreast of the problem. My apologies for the "smear" yet appreciation for the direct addressing of the original offense, ongoing problem, as well as the meeting of the human understanding! I would recommend that you visit this store because it is one of few left with "REAL" people operating it! Thank you to Jenny and her employees for providing this place for all of us patrons, and taking the time to show concern and compassion!

I come here pretty often and usually just do a quick wash and interior clean which is always pretty good. But I decided to go with an interior detail for $200. Definitely not worth it. They missed a ton of dirt/dust on my dash and around the air vents. I didn’t notice at first as I just wanted to get home after waiting around for 2 hours (which I knew before hand). If I’m paying $200 I expect the inside to be sparkling clean.

I love taking my car to Fabulous Freddy's. The online scheduling system is user-friendly. The employees at the Sandy location are always prompt about checking me in; thorough about detailing my car; and they always walk me through what they did when I come to pick it up, to make sure everything was done up to a high standard. I highly recommend their services.
