Hardy's Car Wash

Drove thru the machine wash. Paid over $20 for a premium car wash. It’s done I leave . I get home the car has dryed dirt that the car wash just basically covered in water and didn’t clean . I ran my finger through the area on the trunk where it’s super obvious.

This place sucks... the machines don't have quarter return (only accepts quarters btw). Sometimes it will just randomly lose pressure with time left. The automatic car wash is horrible and a scam, I had to pay another 15$ yo wash it myself afterwards. The other reviews are valid complaining about this place Edit: OH REALLY, is this not a token from your business given to me instead of the 8 quarters I put in the machine... the one time there was somewhere there😂 HAHA this is pathetic. This owner goes as far to have mean spiteful reply's to jaded customers instead of actually fixing the issues. I don't work for quick quack(although it's way better) .

I would give negative stars. For starters, I needed a receipt for an expense account. The machine that gives tokens clearly states that a receipt would be generated, see photo. It isn't. I called the phone number and got no receipt. The car wash itself was fine, I don't think anything has been updated since about 1995. It's a pressure washer. I had a very dirty car, we had been in the field for two weeks. Lots of gear to clean, we were spending a lot of money. However, as I was cleaning an 'employee' driving a white ford pick up came up to me and instantly started to threaten me. He was extremely aggressive. Presumably because we had such dirty vehicles. I had not been aware that dirty vehicles were not welcome at a do-it-yourself car wash. I have attached photos of what I was cleaning for reference. This employee got in my face, repeatedly told me to "f*** off", and honestly, I really thought he was going to hit me. When I asked for a receipt he again started cursing at me. When he threatened to call the police I told him to please call them. I was honestly concerned for my safety. Unfortunately, he didn't call the police, I considered calling them myself but really just wanted to be out of the situation. The employee refused to give me his name or a business card. No one answers the phone number listed on the business. Unless you want to be assaulted I would not go here.

Not bad for an old school, get-out-and-do-it-yourself car wash. Inexpensive, decent equipment, shaded area out back where you can dry/detail your ride. It'll even eat a few quarters/tokens like the old days (which I don't love). If it's worth your time, there are options to have your money refunded. All in all, a great place to wash your car 🚘 🚿
