Lakeside Car Wash

I have gone here a few times with OK service but today was the last time. They did a horrible job cleaning the truck and when I pointed out where dirt was to the guy he had the biggest attitude wiping it down. Because of that and everything that was dirty I also decided he does not get a tip for poor work. As I was closing my door and he was walking off he said something but I did not bother to engage. I added photos below of where it was pretty clear what was not cleaned. I ended up going to a self serve car wash to finish what they did not. They also did not lift up the back seat to get under them when vacuuming. In the bed of the truck was the worst. Leaves, gunk, dirt, etc were not even attempted to be cleaned.

Yikes!! So sad. In its heyday, this place was hopping with industry folk, a shoe shine guy, and lots of blue shirts running around to help. Now, it looks like it was abandoned and some squatters have moved in posing as business owners. What the heck happened? I asked for a vacume and a hand wash and was charged on-the-spot by a youth with a charging apparatus hanging like a necklace. Technology! I waited in the "Palm Room" (waiting area). So neglected, haggard, and unkempt...cobwebs everywhere. Broken down chairs, holes in the bare drywall, ghostly nails left in the wall from past wall hangings. Great set for a haunted house. I didn't notice any brand products...only blue liquid in Gatorade bottles they used on my tires. When I opened my door, I noticed debris on the mats. Not the greatest vacume job. I tipped the poor man $10 because he worked hard and wasn't responsible for the waiting room or the vacume job...but over all, this was a $55.00 car wash. Guess I won't be back.

I didn’t want the numerous poor ratings to be true because the staff is so kind, but it truly is not up to par. They tried to give me my car back with dog hair on the mats and water drips. Even after having it redone I still left with these smears running down both sides. Totally unacceptable. I even bought an upgraded package! Not sure what I paid for other than smiling friendly staff haha!

Car wash is good and dried with hand towels. They take good care of the car.

I paid $85 dollars for vacuuming I got my car and it still has sad and stuff all over the carpet and the trunk. The stains kids made all over the car interiors was still visible and am like what was the detailed. Actually this is my first time of using them and it’s worst than the car wash I changed from. I wonder what it takes to do a good job someone paid for. I should have listened to my spirit and leave the car for my office care wash guy who dose an amazing job at $60. This I mentioned that I was horrified by the restroom. Even back home in Nigeria where am from no car wash offers delivers this level of service. How much is enough for a good thorough job if $85 is not enough for proper cleaning and detailing. I might as well buy a new car vacuum and clean my car as I use to on my days off.
