Melrose Car Wash

Not a bad automatic car wash. I will mention when my car came out and I noticed these chalky white chunks stuck to the paint on a few parts of the car. They came off with some rubbing but it was kind of strange. Maybe clumps of detergent that hadn't dissolved or fell down from a part? Might have been a one-off so not enough to keep me from coming back. The microfiber was after I wiped down the whole car and insides of the door frames. Not bad at all considering this was fresh after a 5 hour Roadtrip.

Normally we had a great experience but today we brought our car in (which didn’t have dirt just some dust) and after the wash the car looked grimey and muddy. We went back and showed them the receipt and this guy was very rude and tried to make us pay for another car wash and tried to upsell us on the premium.

Super bummed as I went through once before and everything was fine. Today, as I was going through the dryer at the end, I heard a crackling on my roof only to emerge and find the roof strips on my car completely pulverized and sticking straight up. I couldn’t find anyone to talk to about it and had to get to work but just be forewarned it may not be a good idea to take your car here

Have you ever been $1 short and been rejected service? That’s what happened here. I’ve been a customer for years coming every week to get my car washed. Today, I had an unexpected bill go through my account and didn’t have any other options but to use any cash I had left in the car, as there were many cars behind me waiting. I had $6, when the wash was $7. The man and woman who are here every week, literally rejected me for not having a $1!! I was a $1 short and they forced every other customer to back out and had me leave. How humiliating and greedy of a business to not help out someone a $1 short who’s been a returning customer for years. Dear manager or whoever treated me this way today, I hope if you’re ever short $1, you won’t get treated the same way because I’m sure you wouldn’t appreciate it. This would’ve never happened in any other city or state. Rude greedy staff. Won’t ever be back.

The prices for their wash are different however, it is the same effect of which it is not good...it does not clean vehicles well. For large vehicles, the rinsing process is not effective. I am not returning to this car wash, there are plenty more car washes in L.A.
