Rudy's Car Wash

I have been to this car wash a few times but two of those times including today on Monday Feb 25 at 3:30 pm. The guy who was on staff that day, it was my second time having him wash my car. He didnt tuck our side mirrors in, he snatched the receipt after spraying our the car down so we got soap in the car when he did get it. He didnt put the cover on our back window wiper and he made the experience horrible.

The attendant was rude and extremely unprofessional. He barely pre-soaked my vehicle, and failed to push in my mirrors Probably because it was too much of a nuisance for him. There was no customer care or appreciation. This entire experience was so unpleasant I felt like they were upset they even had a customer. Regardless, I won’t be going there again. The owner should really evaluate who they hire to run his/her business; those guys are driving customers away permanently.

I have used this specific Rudy’s for many years but they hired a new guy recently who is the absolute worst. I was there Monday the 25th around 2:30 or so and when I pulled up, nobody was there. I waited for several minutes and honked my horn, and still nothing. My passenger got out and had to walk to the little office to see him sitting, literally with his feet up on the desk doing nothing. When he came out, and was clearly upset we disturbed his nap, he didn’t push in the side mirrors, as everyone else there does. He didn’t spray the front with the little soap/bug spray (and we got the Delux wash, and everyone else does that even with the basic) He just used the power washer and sprayed soapy water all over the front and sides BEFORE taking the receipt. Which meant I had to roll the windows down and get soap all inside the door and have it drip into the interior. I asked for a copy of the receipt, as I need it for taxes as this is a work vehicle, and he huffed and just tore the receipt in half. Leaving the total and car wash missing from the receipt, making it useless to me. He then started the automated pulley system and didn’t put the protective plastic on the rear windshield wiper, as is done by everyone else there. And he didn’t use the brush on the backside where the automated spinning brushes and rags don’t get so the entire back of the vehicle was still 80% dirty. To say he did a “bad job” would be an insult to people doing bad jobs because that would indicate that they at least gave half a damn a TRIED. This is the second time I’ve been there with this “employee” and unless he’s gone, it will absolutely be the last time. I’ve never been one to go out of my way to get someone in trouble, but if this was my business, I would be appalled and disgusted to have someone represent my company in such a shoddy and careless manner. I have seen this guy napping with his feet up on the desk twice now and that is just comically obnoxious. It’s sad that a place that used to care about every customer, especially repeat customers (I would be there at least once a week when the weather was bad, snow and salt and all that) or about twice a month to get all our vehicles cleaned here. I realize it’s an inexpensive gas station car wash, but have some pride in your work. There’s people all over who would kill for a job and this guy clearly doesn’t care at all barely does what he’s being paid to do. If I was signing this clowns checks, I would be ashamed of myself.

Horrible experience - took my car back to have it done over the next hour and the attendant says he only gets paid to make sure the car goes on the track - would not rewash the car nor refund my $15.00. Agreed to rinse it off but would not rerun the car again. STAY AWAY Waist of Money - no customer care
