Studio City Hand Car Wash

TERRIBLE customer treatment. Long time customer for 7 years. They wanted to charge us extra to replace one of their sponges. How is that cost on the customer? Is that not worked into the cost of the car wash? We asked for a simple basic car wash and the manager walks up to us and without any attitude from us they said “just don’t cry about it when we finish”. Who says that to a customer who is kindly asking why there’s an up charge for a new sponge for a basic car wash. Never supporting them again. Looks dirtier and warm down more now than it used to. They charge premium prices but don’t upkeep the business and charge for minor tools and supplies like sponges. So odd and a terrible practice to try and upsell. We left without getting a car wash. $20 plus the new sponge fee and a tip would make it well over $35 for the BASIC car wash. No thanks. Buying my own sponge.

I have been living in LA for 6 months now and get my car washed at least twice every month. The first time I went here it was good, but has been getting progressively worse every time. I will no longer be paying these people. I took my car to get washed and it was lightly soiled from driving to Vegas and back for work. When I got my car back they hadn’t cleaned any of the bugs off my bumper. The roof of my car had dirt on it, and my windshield and rear windshield had gunk from bug splatters. Normally I could look past some of these things especially if they fixed the issue when brought to their attention. They said if you paid then you accept the condition your car is returned to you in. Got it! No more money for them. Big thumbs down

They'll clean your car good, but the amount of hairline scratches or "Spider Web" scratch marks on my hood and trunk is aggregious amd entirely unacceptable. They either don't use clean rags or they press too hard. If I could prove this in court, I would. I will never return to Hand Car Wash

I’ve been coming here for years. Unfortunately, the quality of the washes has gone down tremendously. I’m not sure if management has changed, or if it’s just being mismanaged. I pay for the hand wash. Each time the car is returned with visible dirt inside and out. Meanwhile, the prices constantly increase. After today’s wash, I’ll be looking for another place.

Good wash, efficient and fairly fast. Forgot one of our keys and the front desk person helped us track it down. Car came out looking great!
