TLC Carwash Introduce

Looking for a "Car Wash Near Me" in Sandy, UT? TLC Carwash is located at 11575 S 700 E, Sandy, UT 84094, USA. You can contact them at (801) 984-0202 or +1 801-984-0202.

Based on customer reviews, TLC Carwash offers both car wash and dog wash services. While the car wash services are generally praised, the dog wash has several areas needing improvement.

Key points from customer reviews:

  • Dog Wash Concept: Customers acknowledge the "cool concept" of the dog wash but note it "needs some improvements to really be useful."
  • Cold Water: The water is "too cold in the winter" for the dog wash.
  • Low Water Pressure: The water pressure during shampoo and conditioner modes is "far too low," prolonging the washing process.
  • Missing Leash Attachments: The tub lacks "leash/collar attachments" found in similar dog wash systems.
  • Incomplete Vacuum Hose: The vacuum hose for drying dogs "has no attachment," making it difficult to remove excess water.
  • Missing Amenities: The dog wash lacks "hooks for hanging leashes, jackets, etc and a shelf for keys/etc - and a treat dispenser" found at other locations.
  • Good Car Wash Services: Customers praise the "great car cleaning" and "great vacuum towels and windows cleaning" available.
  • Comparison to Other Locations: Customers compare this location unfavorably to a dog wash in North Salt Lake, noting significant differences in functionality and amenities.

The reviews indicate that TLC Carwash provides good car wash services, but the dog wash needs significant improvements. The cold water, low water pressure, and missing amenities are major drawbacks. Potential customers should be aware of these issues, especially if they plan to use the dog wash.

If you are considering TLC Carwash in Sandy, you can expect good car wash services. However, the dog wash has several limitations. It is strongly recommended to consider other "Car Wash Near Me" options if you prioritize dog wash services. The car wash needs to address the issues with the dog wash to improve customer satisfaction. The missing amenities and functionality compared to other locations are significant concerns.

Dog wash is a cool concept, but needs some improvements to really be useful. I've used the same dog wash system at a car wash in North Salt Lake and it's great. I was hoping this one would be just as good, and significantly closer. Sadly, it fell short in a few spots (but easily addressable by the owner, honestly). The water is too cold in the winter. The water pressure while using the shampoo/conditioner modes is far too low, and thus takes too long to properly wash my dogs. The tub is missing the leash/collar attachments that the other wash uses. The vacuum hose has no attachment which makes it difficult to vacuum excess water off your dog. The location in NSL also has hooks for hanging leashes, jackets, etc and a shelf for keys/etc - and a treat dispenser.

This is my favorite carwash in the valley. I'm not lying! The automatic wash (anyone above $8) gets the job done! Free towels and powerful vacuums! The few problems I've had throughout the last 16yrs with anything here have been effectively and promptly resolved.

My wife won't stop using this place. I will never come here again since they accused me of using these free vacuum and not the wash. I'll keep buying her sam Club wash, and that will stop her.

Great experience at TLC Carwash. "How does everyone in Sandy not wash their cars here?" I kept asking myself. TLC introduces a new model for car cleaning: they trust and help you to complete the product. It felt more like a friendship than a business gauging me for every service. I live in MD, and I had to wash my mother-in-law's car. Needless to say, I wanted to do a good job. Somehow I ended up at TLC, and I was saved. I noted all the ways in which TLC is a great value. 1) Automatic car wash is good value for the money. Bugs and other hard-to-clean areas were well cleaned. Brushes are thorough. 2) Microfiber rags are free to use to wipe up and clear residual water droplets and for spot detailing. 3) Vacuums are free to use. 4) Vacuum has two attachments: paddle and needle-nose. 5) Can use power washers for interior rubber mat washing. 6) Monthly patron programs available. Isaiah (car wash tech) was very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. I paid $12 for their ultimate wash, and Isaiah helped me understand why this was a good deal. He convinced me. I agreed. He also noted that a monthly service is $24. If I lived in this area I would have purchased that, too. Isaiah helped my 12 yo son wash the rubber mats (they've never looked better.) Isaiah kindly returned them to our car after they had dried. He fetched rags for us and helped me pick out products for our leather interior. He even helped me select an air freshener. I'm impressed and grateful for the employee and services at TLC. I can't wait to bring MIL's car back in a few years. In time, I expect everyone in SLC region will be washing their cars here. Note to owner: there's a good opportunity for upsale here. Being from out of town, I brought no car cleaning supplies with me, and I desperately wanted a clean car. Isaiah helped me purchase two ArmorAll sponges, but I also would have gladly spent more money for additional sprays and waxes if they had been available. I was willing to spend $20-$40, but actually only spent $12 + $4 = $16. A few years when I washed this car I went to a full-service stop in Sandy (I don't remember the name) and paid close to $80. That job was no where as good as the $16 job I got from your wash and Isaiah's help. I would have paid that money again. You can capture additional value by providing a larger selection of car cleaning products. I imagine someone like Isaiah carrying around a box with a strap around his neck like a popcorn vendor at a sports park. Of course, instead of popcorn, Isaiah is offering a wide selection of car products for sale. Maybe even his services could be offered. For instance, he'll help wax your car with a particular product for $5. I don't have a lot of experience using car washes in this area, so I can't speak to the competition, but TLC seemed unlike any other self-serve car wash. Great value and help here. Thank you.
