Town Center Car Wash - Automobile Hand Wash

I wish there was a way to give them zero stars because I would, I absolutely hate the fact, along with several people here, that I have to give them one star. They always try to upsell you when you pull in to get your car washed. They do not care about the quality of work they do but instead, they’re always trying to upsell you. The guy is so annoying and the funny thing is I’ve seen several people arguing with him, so you have to stick your ground and say “regular wash“ and demand it. You can’t let him walk all over you. He literally tried to add seven dollars onto my bill for “double vacuum” and then started walking away from me to punch in the charge, I was like wait a minute, if you vacuum it right the first time why would you need to double vacuum it? He’s there for a reason And I’m sure the owners love him, but hey, if you’re one of the owners check out your feedback ratings - wouldn’t you be embarrassed to have 2.3 stars on Google reviews? Give me a break. That shows you everything you need to know right there. They don’t give a damn and it’s a shady operation at best. Avoid this place like the plague.

I would give this car wash zero stars if I could due to the terrible management, the clerk is rude, wont give you change so you can tip the workers, max he will give cash back is 5.00 so i went and paid 3.85 to use atm to give a proper tip and then he refused to give change, told me he already did his job by giving me 5.00 cash back which the car wash was 40.00. These guys hustle to survive and deserve a proper tip. Wont EVER come back based on principles and attitude!

I get our cars washed here at least once a week, and they most often do a great job. Today, I went to get my car washed, and when I pulled in, there was a gentleman standing right in the middle of the two lanes that are between the gas pumps. He was facing sideways playing with his phone. I kept inching forward, assuming he would move so I could pull in, but he didn't, so I tapped my horn. He then only slightly moved and gave me a dirty look. When I got past him and got out of my car. I told him I thought he would hear or see me and move over so I could get past him, but he didn't, so I tapped my horn. He responded with an attitude while giving me my claim slip saying, "I could have made him deaf by honking." It was at that time that I realized that it was the owner. He then said, again with an attitude, "You could have just gone out around the pumps and pulled in." So, apparently, it's more important for him to play on his phone and inconvenience his customers, and then have an attitude than to do his job and have a little customer service. Great employees, but the owner has a terrible attitude. I wonder if he would let his employees play on their phones and not do their jobs?!?

We've taken our cars here multiple times. It's hit or miss, but the initial interaction and sales tactics are shady. They charged me $37 without asking me what I wanted besides a wash. It's typically $30 and the extra $7 was for exterior only and didn't include vacuuming or wiping down. First I've heard, not posted or mentioned on their pricing board, and when I questioned it they couldn't give a clear answer and removed the charge. They don't have an option for exterior only so why the extra charge?

It is one thing when the car is not washed well. It is another thing altogether when the car wash does damage to your vehicle and will then tell you to go take a hike. I have been to Town Center car wash for over 20 years. Recently my wife took her car and during the wash the machines broke her side view mirror. It is no longer stable and wobbles and moves when she drives the car. She didn't notice until she was driving and a few hours later returned to the car wash to show them. They told her she must have left and damaged it on her own after the car wash. As if she actually played with the mirror herself and broke it. It is so absurd to insinuate she was playing with the mirror and did this herself. This damage was done by the machines during the wash. They were unwilling to acknowledge this and refused to discuss it further. Please stay away from this establishment who insults their long term customers with absurd accusations to avoid the liability of damage their machines do to their customers cars. I have attached photos of what the car wash machines did to the side view mirror of our car. I will post video if possible as well. Avoid Town Center Car Wash at all costs.
