You just have to take some coins with you if your coming early morning. If lights lit then there machines work for changing if not bring your own 8 quarters rinse wash scrub hit it with wax and deionized water aka spot free wash. And get on the 405 and 10 to airdry and polish as needed.

The hassle of getting cash and then getting small bills and then turning them into quarters in 2024 is too great of a challenge to just get my car washed 馃槶

I recently visited the Village Car Wash in Santa Monica and I have to say, I was disappointed with my experience. While the car wash itself was decent, there were some major inconveniences that made the whole process a hassle. First of all, the change machine only takes small bills. This was incredibly frustrating because I only had a $20 bill on me, which meant I had to go out of my way to find a place to break it. Unfortunately, the liquor store next door wouldn't break small bills either, so I was stuck with a $20 bill that I couldn't use. This made the whole car wash process a lot more complicated and time-consuming than it needed to be. Another major issue was the lack of a card reader. In this day and age, I find it hard to believe that a business wouldn't have a card reader. It's just not practical to carry around a bunch of cash these days, and it's even more frustrating when you're forced to use cash because there's no other option. Overall, I have to give the Village Car Wash a two-star review. While the car wash itself was decent, the inconveniences of the change machine only taking small bills and the lack of a card reader made the whole process a hassle. And to make matters worse, the liquor store next door wouldn't even break small bills. I would recommend finding another car wash in the area that's more convenient and modern.

Might be the worst car wash in LA. Would not recommend.

$2 for 4 mins. How can you get it done? Easy! Bring a friend. First, don't bother to rinse with water. Start with high pressure soap immediately. Your friend can use the brush to scrub dirty parts like underside and wheels. Don't use the brush on the body - it will scratch your paint! After 2.5 mins switch to high pressure rinse and wash the soap off thoroughly! Bring big towels and wipe the car dry. You are done! People line up and take turns! Highly recommended !
