Xclusive Auto Spa Westfield Century City

+ 5 stars for the interior detail - 1 star for residual clay bar marks/scuffs/residue - 2 stars for gaslighting me I tried Xclusive Auto Spa today while doing some Holiday shopping at Westfield Century City. I found the location (in the Westfield parking garage) pretty convenient and reasonably priced for a wash/interior clean. The manager was friendly and without pressure upsold me on a package that included a clay bar wax and a full interior detail ($275) since it has been 3 years since I waxed my Jeep. It was ready for pickup in time as promised (1 hour). When walking up to pick up my vehicle, it was sparkling but I immediately noticed what looked like 4 large scuff marks on the hood. I pointed them out to the manager thinking they were just residual marks from the clay bar not being buffed out thoroughly. I was told these were in fact scratches, not clay marks and that it was "the first thing (he) noticed when I pulled up". I was skeptical since I had never noticed these before, but since I really couldn't prove it (and haven't studied the hood of my car lately), I accepted what I thought was a professional's word, but drove away feeling a little uncertain and gaslit. When I got home, I took a closer look at the marks and wiped one of them with the end of my t-shirt out of curiosity and was able to rub part of it off. Hmnnn. I then grabbed a microfiber towel and was able to wipe off all of the marks with a little elbow grease in less than 10 mins. So I'm pretty sure they were residual clay marks or some other residue (they felt waxy) like I first tried to point out. The interior was perfect and like new - hence the 2 stars. A few points here: 1. If these guys were professional they would have immediately been able to tell the difference between scratches and whatever these marks were regardless if they were from the clay bar or some other waxy residue. 2. Even if the vehicle had these on the hood before as the manager claimed, the clay bar and some elbow grease should have removed them if the job was done right since they were just residue marks on the surface that I was able to wipe off with my t-shirt (not scratches)! 3. Because of 1 and 2 above, I have to assume the manager either tried to gaslight me in the worst case scenario, or, in the best case scenario they simply didn't do a great job waxing the car if I wiped these out with my t shirt and a microfiber towel. 4. I would have taken my car right back to show him in person, but with LA traffic, who has time for that? So I can only leave an honest review of my experience. 5. The interior was perfect, but sadly all of the above tainted the experience entirely and left a bad taste in my mouth. I would still have given them at least 4 or 5 stars if they just wiped off the clay marks/residue like I had to. So, I can't recommend them for anything other than maybe a wash and interior detail. But I won't be taking my car back to them for either.

Absolute class act. They do a great job cleaning and the ticket system makes it super easy to pick up quickly. I can’t wait until they add valet to century city.

I don’t normally write reviews. But every once in a while I’ll feel inspired to. It’s hard to find a good car wash in Los Angeles. One that’s consistent and reliable. I came across this place when it just opened up its location at Century city Mall. I had a bunch of errands to run in the area and decided to give this place a shot. I was met by an extremely friendly guy named Edwin who convinced me to get a membership. Let me tell you. This was the best decision. I’m all about efficiency and as a member of Equinox and someone who goes to Next Health both which are in this mall. It makes life so much easier. Jason’s been up in the front lately and is always super welcoming. I always get my car back like it’s brand spanking new. I had the pleasure of meeting Frankie who is one of the guys who washes the cars there. Probably one of the kindest most hard working guys I’ve met. I always know I’m gonna get a stellar wash when he’s working. This place is run really well. Thanks Xclusive Auto spa for making my life a little easier and more pleasant.

Tried this out for the first time today. Wash was very mediocre, especially on the outside of the vehicle, especially for the Elite package ($100). However, even worse is the fact that the company seems dishonest. When I went to pay, the guy at the desk told me it was $125 (which is the SUV price). When I pointed to the sign behind him and said “I thought it was $100 for a sedan”, he said “oh right, $100”. When I pointed out the poor wash, he told me they didn’t get the bugs off my bumper because “it’s not bugs but tree sap and it would scratch your paint. Trust me, we’ve been doing this for 8 years.” The car has only ever been parked inside, and the so-called tree sap is only on the front bumper / hood as a streak. The car wash I use in the Bay Area (I drive the car back and forth weekly, hence the bug splatter) can always get the hood completely clean. For $42. 1* for service and honesty, 2* for wash (especially given the price)

Got a full interior and outside detailed and my car looks FLAWLESS! Sean provided me exactly what I needed. Super friendly and helpful indeed! I'm definitely coming back.
