I genuinely think if you work near a train station that dispenses gold and silver dollars the people who work here especially behind the counter, should know what American currency looks like. I needed a drink to hydrate last night and the clerk wouldn’t take my silver dollar that I just got from the MTA machine. I can’t explain how annoying it is to watch two people, one of which doesn’t work at BP, speak in Arabic about whether or not MY money is real. Really think about that. These guys are not from here and are going back and forth about whether or not a currency is acceptable and one doesn’t work there. Neither came to a conclusion that is accurate. They don’t know the currency but they handle money? Be so serious.

Incident Report: Unprofessional Behavior at BP Gas Station Date: Saturday, November 16, 2024 Time: 2:57 pm Location: BP Gas Station 30-02 Astoria, Blvd Astoria, NY 11102 I recently experienced unacceptable treatment from an employee while attempting to purchase an ice cream. Upon entering the store, I picked up the ice cream and asked the employee the price. He provided an uncertain response, so I scanned the item at the nearby register to determine the cost. Suddenly, the employee aggressively approached me, screaming,even get in my face and appearing confrontational. His demeanor was frightening and unprofessional. Furthermore, while yelling, he was eating something, and debris was flying out of his mouth and onto me.His very rude,arrogant,and disrespectful. This encounter was disturbing and left a lasting negative impression. I expect a higher level of customer service and respect from employees.. His actions were unacceptable, and I hope this incident will be addressed

Normally don’t have an issue here in the daytime. Tonight the late night cashier asked if I was drinking alone and recommended that I have a drink with his friend. It was 3am. Very unprofessional and frightening. Just when I thought it was over, a few days later an employee asked me to take my mask off to check my ID, while he was threatening to call the police on an intruder who had tapped my shoulder asking for a coffee purchase. I had a family member with me. We’re in the midst of a national pandemic. Great that you’ve implemented safeguards for your workers but what about me. I’ve visited this location at least a two days a week for over five years before all of this happened. Now I am scared for my life to revisit. Thanks for nothing after all.

In trying to rate the attached Auto Repair garage, I realize they don’t have their own google pin and unfortunately I’m forced to place this terrible experience with the garage on the BP pin, when I love this BP and everyone who works inside the store. As far as the auto repair attached to the left of BP, the place is a joke. I went there yesterday to get my NYS Inspection, on the advice of a friend, & was told I would have to wait 45 minutes. After 45 minutes I was told better tomorrow morning at 8am, in and out. I chose to wait another hour, to support the place with my business. Today, I came at 8am, thinking I would drop off my car and pick it up later. They saw me, again, and just left me standing there. I left after 15 minutes, and went around the corner to The Gulf Gas station on the corner of 31st St & Astoria Blvd. south. Was greeted immediately by Edwin, & done in 10 minutes. HIGHLY RECOMMEND you cone here first. Looking back, I realized telling me 45 minute wait yesterday probably meant, we are not interested in helping you. Just like leaving me standing there this morning. So much for trying to support your local fellow business peers.
