Brought car in with metal shard in tire after riding through road debris. I was told that tire could not be saved, I would need 2 new tires and I would also need front end work totaling about $1900! Took car home without shard in tire and tire is fine. Something is not right, starting with the truth about the tire.

Ran out of gas around the corner, not thinking and in a rush I put gas I had sitting in my trunk for awhile. Left it to be drained out at the shop because it was overnight and my regular tech was on vacation. Week later my check engine light is on for large and small EVAP leak. Needing a brand new gas tank costing me over 1k + repairs not mentioning the 200 I paid for them to mess my car up.
