I love it. I Was on the way to the hospital with my mom, and I need gas. I went into the station, and I was surprised, I did not have to get out of my car. The young man that came to service me spoke in a kind voice fill my car up I was out very quickly

Visit Date: September 9, 2021 This BP gas station has helped me with car tires, twice in a short amount of time. This year I've had ridiculous car tire issues I am hoping that this past time is the last time I've got to deal with a car tire issue for quite some time. I may have replaced all 4 of my car tires at some point this year at various gas stations and mechanic shops across the Island from Hewlett to Babylon. On Wednesday I got the second flat tire I've gotten within a short span of a few weeks. I felt the familiar car shake of a flat tire while I was on the parkway so I pulled over in Wantagh, saw my tire was indeed flat and called my good friends at AAA. I got the spare donut tire put on the car and drove to BP. They checked my tire and said I needed a new one which I figured. So they ordered a new tire, I had to wait a day and I bought the car back in on Thursday so they could take care of it. They give me a discount for working at the library which I truly appreciate. As long as I'm working in Hewlett, the good old guys at BP might be turning into my regular mechanics that I deal with.

I feel I was threatened with law enforcement by Nick at this location after inquiring about a hold on my account after buying gas. Im a black man and I know even this is dangerous tactic used to intimidate ppl of color. I was a customer and only tried to get insight from gas station. Already spoke with my bank about it. They have less than 24 hours to release hold, by federal law. *update/reply The hold occurred out of outside worker processing my debit wrong. The gas station does place a hold when paying at pump with debit. The guy working outside did apologized. I came to location before. Im aware of merchant hold laws. My bank is informative. The disrespect and intimidation tactics used by Nick is the issue that upset me. Also the fact that you overlooked this is worse. Also lying aboutgas mechants placing holds. Thats a lie. It happens when paying at pump with debit card. I have proof this is fact in my situation. I will upload pics to show this.

On a Sunday this place lacks personnel, and you wind up waiting longer. Other than that, it's a nice place to go since they take care of you right away, in anything & everything you need.
