This place is now a shell gas station. I come up to the diesel pump and insert my debit card. Reader won’t take it after multiple tries. I walk inside and ask the attendant for 20 gallons of diesel. At their posted price of 3.43 a gallon. For debit/ cash price. Comes out to 68.60. Attendant cannot punch in 20 dollars. And for some reason cannot calculate what 3.43 x20 is. I run back to my car and tell the guy, $69 dollars after getting my phone calculator. Pay the pay with my debit card, takes it no problem. I pump the diesel and the pump stops at $69 , 19.497 gallons. At this point I run the calculation myself and come up with 3.53 a gallon which is their credit price. Go back inside and tell the guy he took payment as credit, it’s not a credit purchase. The attendant plays complete ignorance saying he doesn’t know. I’m trying to explain to him, he made a mistake. To make a long story short, the owner gets involved and the same issue cannot penetrate the density of his ego. What is clear is that this is a possibly a scam. Where the card reader conveniently does not take debit forces you inside and they get you for credit. The initial receipt that he gave me the first time, had nothing printed with regard to price and amount dispensed. After arguing with the guy he comes up with another receipt that states the price, gallons dispensed and total payed. What is going on here?

Be aware this location is currently price gouging...charging 100% tax on items in store...i.e item will have 1.50 printed from factory on item, u will get to register and they will charge u 3.00. I asked why they said they have to charge 100% tax because they pay 75%..un heard of, illegal, and was very nasty when I asked "why 3.00"...they have been reported

It was actually a Sunday afternoon that I went to the BP gas station in Coram everything went well I had to buy cigarettes beer vitamin water and candy for myself and my company and the Man in the booth is always pleasant when you go there thank you BP of Coram
