COPPS HILL SHELL

My wife remembers stopping there 2 yrs ago for some help with a stranded vehicle and was treated with respect and willingness to assist. Fast forward to today, we picked up a screw head in the tread of one of our front tires. We went a little further to stop by there again…well things went very differently this time. We were told we would have to leave the car over night and they were, just too busy to help…there was no activity coming from all four bays of the garage at the time… We went further up the road to a Citgo, where the head mechanic came out with the puncture kit, put in the plug and we were on our way again…took less than 10 minutes and the front tire didn’t even need to be pulled off of the car. I am a longtime resident of the town…it’s very disappointing to realize how uncaring and unprofessional some of our so called “Service Station” personnel actually believe they can treat their customers.

Terrible customer service! Buyer beware! We experienced an issue with pump 6. Although it occurred in December, 2020, I have no confidence that it has been corrected. Check your credit card statements because you may have been fraudulently charged additional money. I have been trying to resolve my fraudulent credit card charge for months and to no avail after multiple conversations with the Shell station manager. The credit card reader at pump 6 was not working, so we backed up to pump 8 and that worked. After reviewing my credit card statement, I realized we had 2 charges from Shell on the same day and knew that was wrong. After several attempts to correct this issue, not only with the manager, but also with my credit card company, I have still not gotten resolution. The manager at the station seemed helpful at first, but then with every return call that I made stating it was not resolved, instead of the manager taking ownership of his failed equipment, he told me to essentially do the follow up and referred me to other places to resolve the issue. Terrible customer service! I will not be returning to this station ever and perhaps it doesn't matter to the manager or Shell, but it should matter to us the customers. So please be vigilant about looking over your credit card statements because this station has issues with their equipment and are unwilling to help and do the right thing.

Highly recommend. I brought my Audi in the have the CEL checked. Turned out to be a cracked PVC Baffle. Part was sourced and replaced same day. Next day my check engine light came back on so I brought my car back. Dave and team went through a bunch of tests and resolved the issue no extra costs. Good honest guys over there. Like I said I drive an Audi so I’m sure I’ll have something else go wrong again soon and I’ll feel good about bringing it to these guys

Mike is a great mechanic and he really cares about the local customer. I have been using him for 4 or 5 years and the team there is honest and when they tell you something it's typically with your best interests at heart. They tell you where to spend your money when you don't know how to allocate it. great for cars you are trying to keep on the road.
